Albums
Nirvana's studio albums in order of release are:
- Bleach (June 15, 1989): This was Nirvana's debut album released on the independent label Sub Pop. It established their grunge sound and gained them a dedicated following.
- Nevermind (September 24, 1991): This album launched Nirvana to superstardom. It featured the hit song "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and helped to popularize alternative rock in the mainstream.
- In Utero (September 13, 1993): Nirvana's final studio album had a harsher and more abrasive sound than Nevermind. It was critically acclaimed but did not achieve the same level of commercial success.
