Wade In The Water || The Spirituals || Vibes Week 38
Hello everyone, this is VIBES Web3 Music Competition Week 38.
I'm really sorry I wasn't able to post for Week 37 due to some reasons.
Actually, when I heard the theme, I was really confused about what to sing. So one day, I decided to settle down and look for a song that matched the theme. But when I saw the kind of songs there, I got really discouraged. I searched and kept searching but couldn’t find a song that I liked.
I had to stop searching for a while because I had exams. Unfortunately, the submission day came, and I wasn’t ready with any song.
So I told myself I wasn’t going to miss Week 38 — and here I am!
While searching for a song for Week 38, I came across this one titled “Wade in the Water.”
It was really inspiring and I loved it, so I decided to sing it for this week.
I took my time, learned the song, and made this video.
Though I’ve heard of The Spirituals before, I had only listened to one of their songs — and that was during the Christmas period. I really enjoyed it, and I told myself this would be a great opportunity to sing one of their songs.
I hope you’ll enjoy it — I’ve really put a lot of effort into this song.
