Vibes week 33, "Lágrimas Negras" cover by @leandrosuarez

Hi guys, I'm really excited to be able to participate in this 33rd week, sharing one of my favorite songs in Spanish.
It's "Lágrimas Negras," a gem of Cuban music, composed by Miguel Matamoros in 1931. This classic stands out as a marvel of fusion between bolero and Cuban son, two genres deeply rooted in Cuba's cultural identity. The lyrics, filled with the pain of a betrayed love, are wrapped in a rhythmic melody that transforms sadness into art and celebration.
This song goes down in history after being recorded by the Matamoros Trio, a group that left an indelible mark on the history of son and bolero. Formed by Miguel Matamoros, Rafael Cueto, and Siro Rodríguez in the 1920s, their music shone for the perfect harmony of their voices, the warmth of their guitars, and a unique sensitivity for telling stories of the people with elegance and emotion.
Without further ado, I hope you like it.
I send you all a big hug and many blessings.
