My taste for local bands began in my teens and luckily it continues to this day: more than 10 years have passed and many of those bands are still going strong, but many others appeared along the way. I am a person who listens to all kinds of music and that enables me to go to almost any concert, but honestly I prefer those that are somewhat small and without so many people. It had been a while since I went to an event of one of the bands that I like and the big surprise was when they announced a date in which three bands would play together near my house. The great surprise was that the ticket was very cheap so I didn't even hesitate it 😅.

Mi gusto por las bandas locales comenzó en mi adolescencia y por suerte se extiende hasta hoy en día: han pasado más de 10 años y muchas de esas bandas siguen vigentes, pero otras tantas aparecieron en el camino. Yo soy una persona que escucha todo tipo de música y eso me habilita a ir a casi cualquier recital, pero honestamente prefiero aquellos que son algo pequeños y sin tanta gente. Llevaba bastante tiempo sin ir a un evento de alguna de las bandas que me gustan y la gran sorpresa fue cuando anunciaron una fecha en la que tocarían tres bandas juntas cerca de mi casa. La gran sorpresa fue que la entrada era muy económica así que ni siquiera dudé 😅.

Going places alone is not a problem for me, especially if it's to do something I really like. Also, this date was worth it and I was not going to miss it. It was a triple recital between three bands of artists of a similar style, indie rock, which is the genre I've been following since I was 17 years old. All these bands are from the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the recital was held at the Konex Cultural Center, a space that has a closed room but also a patio with a stage. It's summer around here, so the outdoors was chosen for the show 😃.

Ir sola a los lugares no es un problema para mí, y menos si es para hacer algo que realmente me gusta. Además, esta fecha valía la pena y no me la iba a perder. Se trataba de un recital triple entre tres bandas de artistas de un estilo parecido, rock indie, que es el género que sigo desde mis 17 años. Todas estas bandas son de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, y el recital se llevó a cabo en el Centro Cultural Konex, un espacio que cuenta con salón cerrado pero también un patio con un escenario. Es verano por aquí, así que el aire libre fue el elegido para el espectáculo 😃.

The ticket for this triple recital only cost me 3000 ARS (8 USD), which normally costs a ticket for each of these bands. Generally, these types of events are done like this so that the public can meet the other bands and gain followers. In my case, I already knew all three so you can imagine my excitement. The schedule of the recital included the presentations of the band Los Besos, the soloist Barbi Recanati and the band Las Ligas Menores. I had already seen all of them separately but for them to be together in the same afternoon was another level ❤️.

La entrada para este recital triple solo me costó 3000 ARS (8 USD), lo que normalmente cuesta una entrada para cada una de estas bandas. Generalmente este tipo de eventos se hacen así para que el público pueda conocer a las demás bandas y ganen seguidores. En mi caso, ya conocía a las tres así que se imaginarán mi emoción. El cronograma del recital incluía las presentaciones de la banda Los Besos, la solista Barbi Recanati y la banda Las Ligas Menores. A todos ellos ya los había visto por separado pero que estén juntos en la misma tarde fue otro nivel ❤️.

The band that opened the show was Los Besos. I met this band only a few months ago and I was happy to see them live so quickly. Their style is mainly calm, I like to listen to them in the morning when I'm working and I need something to sound but not to make me dance so much, otherwise I get distracted. Their whole aesthetic on stage was amazing and from what I've seen at other shows, they always have extravagant outfits, which gives them a lot of identity 😃.

La banda que abrió el espectáculo fue Los Besos. A esta banda la conocí hace tan solo unos meses y me alegró poder verla en vivo tan rápido. Su estilo es principalmente tranquilo, me gusta escucharlos en las mañanas cuando estoy trabajando y necesito que suene algo pero tampoco que me haga bailar tanto sino me distraigo. Toda su estética en el escenario fue increíble y por lo que vi en otros recitales, siempre tienen atuendos extravagantes, lo que les da mucha identidad 😃.
