When it comes to finding fun rides and activities to hang out in, the city of Buenos Aires is full of options. If you are in the center, there are a lot of green spaces to visit that you can easily reach by subway or bus, but it is also good to explore what lies beyond. If you dare to travel a little further from the center, you also have the opportunity to visit a great exhibition of science and technology open to the public, where you can not only learn many things, but also enjoy different musical shows and all with free admission ❤️.

Cuando se trata de encontrar paseos divertidos y actividades para pasar el rato, la ciudad de Buenos Aires está llena de opciones. Si te encontras en el centro, hay un montón de espacios verdes para visitar a los que fácilmente podes llegar en subte o colectivo, pero también está bueno explorar qué hay más allá. Si te animas a viajar un poco más lejos del centro, también tenes la oportunidad de visitar una gran muestra de ciencia y tecnología abierta al público, en donde no solo podes aprender muchas cosas, sino también disfrutar de distintos shows musicales y todos con entrada gratuita ❤️.

This exhibition is called Tecnópolis and it is located in a large property in the city of Villa Martelli, in the north of Buenos Aires. Getting there from the city center takes about an hour, but it's worth the trip. To get to the center of the city, it takes me an hour from my house, and then another hour to Tecnopolis: this trip is quite long for me, but when there is going to be a show of interest to me, I go there without hesitation 😅.

Esta muestra se llama Tecnópolis y se ubica en un gran predio en la ciudad de Villa Martelli, en la zona norte de Buenos Aires. Para llegar hasta allí desde el centro de la ciudad tardas alrededor de una hora, pero el viaje vale la pena. Para llegar al centro de la ciudad, yo desde mi casa ya tardo una hora, y luego otra hora hasta Tecnópolis: este viaje es bastante largo para mí, pero cuando se va a llevar a cabo algún espectáculo de mi interés, voy sin dudarlo 😅.

It is recommended to go very early to spend the whole day there because there are several science shows and exhibitions, mainly to disseminate the work that scientists do in our country. The place has several parks and squares where you can hang out with the children, or simply have something to eat for lunch or drink mate. This place is mainly open when spring starts and summer ends, which is when there are more daylight hours, so people have plenty of time to enjoy it. In my opinion, it is very well organized: there are some stalls to buy food or sweets, public toilets and hydration stalls to make your walk comfortable ❤️.

Lo recomendado es ir bien temprano para pasar el día completo ahí porque hay varias muestras y exposiciones de ciencia, principalmente para divulgar los trabajos que hacen los científicos en nuestro país. El lugar cuenta con varios parques y plazas donde podes pasar el rato con los niños, o simplemente almorzando algo o tomando mate. Este lugar está abierto principalmente cuando empieza la primavera y termina el verano, que es cuando hay más horas de luz, así que la gente tiene bastante tiempo para disfrutarlo. En mi opinión, está muy bien organizado: hay algunos puestos para comprar comida o golosinas, baños públicos y puestos de hidratación para hacer cómodo tu paseo ❤️.

As I have gone several times, this time I went almost at dusk to directly see the musical show I wanted. The Tecnópolis property has two large stages where the city organizes recitals of all kinds: one is covered and the other is outdoors, and both are fully used during the season. Being free shows, these events are very popular, but they are very quiet because there is always space for everyone who wants to go see something and have a good time ❤️.

Como yo he ido varias varias veces, esta vez fui casi al anochecer para ver directamente el show musical que quería. El predio de Tecnópolis tiene dos escenarios grandes en donde la ciudad organiza recitales de todo tipo: uno es techado y el otro es al aire libre, y en la temporada se usar los dos a pleno. Al ser espectáculos gratis, estos eventos tienen mucha convocatoria, pero son muy tranquilos porque siempre hay espacio para todos los que quieran ir a ver algo y pasar un buen momento ❤️.

On this last occasion, my friend and I went to the presentation of an artist that we recently started to like. His name is Bavhi and his music is mostly consumed by teenagers, but since age is just a number, we wanted to go see what he sounded like live. The good thing about these free recitals is that they allow you to meet the artist and if he finishes convincing you, then you can go to other recitals with paid admission. I have to say that this young man sounded pretty good and it was great to hear the songs I liked live, but I think I've had enough with that show 😅.

En esta última oportunidad, mi amiga y yo fuimos a la presentación de un artísta que nos empezó a gustar recientemente. Se llama Bavhi y su música es consumida principalmente por adolescentes, pero como la edad es solo un número, queríamos ir a ver cómo sonaba en vivo. Lo bueno de estos recitales gratis es que te permiten conocer al artista y si te termina de convencer, luego podes ir a otros recitales con entrada paga. Debo decir que este joven sonaba bastante bien y fue genial escuchar en vivo las canciones que me gustaban, pero creo que con ese recital ya tuve suficiente 😅.

As the only criticism, I must say that you have to be patient when leaving the shows, because since most people use public transport, this service collapses a bit. But, it's all a good excuse to keep enjoying the fresh air a little longer 😅.

Dentro de mis otras recomendaciones de paseos cercanos a la ciudad de Buenos Aires sin dudas se encuentra Tecnópolis. Si quieren más información sobre este lugar y sus actividades pueden consultar en la página oficial. Como única crítica, debo decir que se tienen que armar de paciencia a la salida de los shows, porque como la mayoría de las personas usan el transporte público, este servicio se colapsa un poco. Pero, todo es una buena excusa para seguir disfrutando el aire fresco un poco más 😅.
