Cover: Another band from my youth. Let's meet Blink 182 [english-spanish]

Proveniente de Estados Unidos, Nueva York, llega el grupo que se hace llamar Blink 182 . Los miembros de la banda son Mark Hoppus,Travis Barker y Tom DeLonge. Con su álbum, del año 1994, titulado Enema of the State y con canciones como "What's My Age Again?," y "All the Small Things," Blink 182 logró vender más de 15 millones de copias para los antes del punk rock. Las letras de sus canciones acentúan el sonido oscuro de la banda.

La banda dejó su huella en la televisión con la película Happy Day del año 2002 el cual fue todo un éxito en youtube.

Las bandas que los influenciaron musicalmente fueron: Rancid, Green Day, Sum 41 y The Chainsmokers. Durante mi etapa de juventud fue otro de los grupos que escuchaba durante mis días de estrés. En la actualidad el grupo ya se escucha poco por los de mi generación y aún todavía me faltan canciones que no he escuchado.

Fue uno de los mejores grupos musicales que pude haber escuchado en mi vida. Espero que aún Blink 182 puda seguir mostrando a los jóvenes de hoy el verdadero poder del rock.

From the United States, New York, comes the group that calls itself Blink 182. The members of the band are Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge. With their 1994 album, Enema of the State, and songs like "What's My Age Again?" and "All the Small Things," Blink 182 sold more than 15 million copies in the punk rock era. Their lyrics accentuate the band's dark sound.

The band made its mark on television with the 2002 film Happy Day which was a hit on youtube.

The bands that influenced them musically were: Rancid, Green Day, Sum 41 and The Chainsmokers. During my youth it was another band I listened to during my stressful days. Nowadays the group is rarely listened to by those of my generation and I am still missing songs I haven't heard.

It was one of the best musical groups I could have listened to in my life. I hope that even Blink 182 can continue to show today's youth the true power of rock.
