Hoy en mi domingo musical le traigo un éxito del año 1979, yo reconozco que para ese año apenas tenía 5 años, pero muchos años después más o menos a los 12 o 13 años la conocí, y más cuando tienes esa edad que comienzas a hurgar en el mundo musical, hoy les traigo a Kiss como bien lo sabes es una banda estadounidense de rock and roll que viva el Rock and Roll.

Estos amigos míos y sus vestimentas algo fuera de lo normal en las bandas de rock creo que muchos los han imitado, pero aunque muchos traten ellos siempre serán los únicos con su vestimenta teatral ese maquillaje que los caracteriza a cada uno de ellos como grupo es insuperable, hasta yo una vez me disfrace igual que Ace Frehley: conocido como el "Spaceman" de la banda, me gustaba su maquillaje de rayas plateadas y negras y lo mejor de todo era su traje espacial.

La razón de mi domingo musical es como siempre cuando pongo a mi playlist que seleccione de manera aleatoria una canción, esta fue una gran, pero genial selección, I Was Made For Lovin' You en español literalmente sería "Fui hecho para amarte" muchas personas en el mundo asocia a al género musical con rebeldía de los jóvenes, siempre yo, esto es mi opinión personal y respeto otras opiniones, yo he pensado que puede ser mal catalogada solo por su estridente música que algunos no soportan, pero eso no es mi caso, muchas veces ni siquiera se dan a la tarea de ver o investigar la letra de la canción, y cuando lo hacen se llevan una gran sorpresa porque le encuentran sentido a la música y sobre todo a la letra.

Esta canción para mí es como una poesía sobre el amor verdadero, si así como lo estás leyendo el amor verdadero, ese tipo de amor que si existe de un hombre hacia una mujer, como lo dice la letra de la canción, "I Was Made for Lovin' You" fui hecho para amarte.

Si bien es cierto la canción está en inglés y todo aquel que no sabe inglés como lo es mi caso y tiene que usar traductores para entenderlo, aunque con el pasar de los años poco a poco entiendo muchas cosas, pero les diré más o menos lo que significa la letra de esta canción es una canción de amor sobre la búsqueda del amor verdadero. La letra habla de cómo uno como hombre podemos estar hechos para amar a una mujer y cómo no puede imaginar su vida sin ella. A pesar de que quienes la cantan son una agrupación de rock and roll, su canción y su letra es una celebración del amor y el compromiso.

Al final de todo eso es lo que buscamos amar y ser amados, y una música específica no define lo que se siente, todas pueden tocar este maravilloso tema del amor en sus letras y en sus músicas.

The reason for my musical Sunday is as always when I put on my playlist that randomly selects a song, this was a great, but awesome selection, I Was Made For Lovin' You in Spanish would literally be "Fui hecho para amarte" many people in the world associate the musical genre with youth rebellion, but I personally, this is my opinion and I respect other opinions, I have thought that it could be wrongly categorized only because of its strident music that some cannot stand, but that is not my case, many times they don't even bother to look or investigate the lyrics of the song, and when they do, they are pleasantly surprised because they find meaning in the music and especially in the lyrics.

This song for me is like a poem about true love, yes just as you are reading it, true love, that kind of love that does exist from a man to a woman, as the lyrics of the song say, "I Was Made for Lovin' You".

While it is true that the song is in English and anyone who does not know English like me has to use translators to understand it, although over the years I gradually understand many things, but I will tell you more or less what the lyrics of this song mean, it is a love song about the search for true love.
