Por el año 2000 o 2001 ya se estaba escuchando el grupo de unos maracuchos, así les decían, muchas veces me preguntaron Lanz, ya escuchase a Mermelada Bunch, y de verdad para ese año no los había escuchado aún, pero en el año 2002 los escuché con esta canción Me liberé simplemente era una oda una gran obra un grito de un hombre sobre su vida de pareja, las letras de verdad eran muy, pero muy graciosa y de alguna forma se hizo muy famosa lanzando al estrellato a ese grupo.

De Maracaibo para el mundo, así decían ellos, en mi humilde opinión y creo que muchos estarán de acuerdo. La canción es una balada pop pero también con un toque de Reggae que habla sobre el proceso de liberación de un hombre cansado de una relación tóxica, lo mas gracioso de la letra es como poco a poco va contando de cómo su vida ha cambiado desde que su pareja se fue.

Este pana según lo que cuenta en la letra de la canción, ya no tiene que fingir para ser alguien que no es para complacer a su mujer, es una historia, no sé si real o de mentira o cuál fue la inspiración, en la letra dice como cuenta cómo su pareja lo controlaba y lo hacía sentir mal consigo mismo. Ahora que está libre, se siente más seguro y feliz, él lo único que busca, bueno es lo que yo puedo entender de esa letra, simplemente quiere estar con alguien que lo ame y lo respete por lo que es.

Pero la felicidad es algo que puede ser muy corta o de momento muy pequeño, porque lo mejor de toda la historia y de como él se desahoga diciendo que se liberó, y lo triste es cuando el hombre despierta y que simplemente era un sueño y vuelve a su realidad.
