Rock on (ENG-ESP)-Monomad challenge

A friend says I'm one of those typical rockers who thinks rock is the best and everything else is garbage.

He's wrong, because I listen to almost everything. And I say almost, because there are genres that really don't deserve to be called music, like reggaeton, for example.

But that's not the point of this post; rather, today I'll say that rock creates this indescribable feeling when I listen to it.

And even more so when I hear it live.

On this occasion, I photographed the band Ooparts from Valencia, Venezuela, who performed on a terrace, playing covers of great Spanish-language bands like Soda Stereo, Zapato 3, Los Terrícolas, Café Tacuba, Hombres G, among others.

Un amigo dice que soy de los típicos rockeros que piensan que el rock es lo mejor y lo demás es basura.

Él se equivoca, porque escucho casi de todo. Y digo casi, porque hay géneros que realmente no merecen ser llamados música, como el reggaetón, por ejemplo.

Pero ese no es el punto de esta publicación, sino que hoy diré que el rock genera un no sé qué cuando lo escucho.

Y más cuando lo hago en vivo.

En esta oportunidad fotografié a la banda Ooparts, de Valencia, Venezuela, que se presentó en una terraza, tocando covers de grandes bandas en español como Soda Stereo, Zapato 3, Los Terrícolas, Café Tacuba, Hombres G, entre otros.

And, of course, they also played their own songs.

I even played one of them a few days before with the composer and vocalist. So I was the first person outside the band to know it.

In fact, I was the only one singing along. It's a ballad with an interesting melody.

And now... ladies and gentlemen... Ooparts!

Y, por supuesto, también tocaron temas propios.

Uno de ellos lo toqué unos días antes junto al compositor y vocalista. Así que fui el primero fuera de la banda en sabérselo.

De hecho, era el único en cantarla. Es una balada con una melodía interesante.
