Hive Music Festival - Week 6 - Round 3 | Silent Night
🎵 Hello Music Lovers of Hive Music community! 🎙
Greetings to everyone; my dear online audience and beloved online Judges.
Welcome to Hive Music Festival, Week 6 round 3.
This week has been a stressful one for me, as always, both online and offline. The environment has also made things worst based on the economic and ridiculous electricity issues. Worst still, over here in Lagos, the price of petrol (fuel) has increased over 25% and it is really scarce. You need to be on a queue for at least 4 hours before you can successfully purchase fuel for your car or Generator (for power). It is really difficult and sad.
I wonder why things get worst like this when we are closer to Christmas season. It seems like it has always been a conscious attempt so that the prices of transportation during Christmas season Doubles or Triples.
But, people will always travel to spend some time in their home towns/villages. So, no matter how high the prices go, people will manage.
Sometimes, these people (Govt and all concerned bodies) don't want us to celebrate Christmas in peace.
Well, I believe the Birthday boy (Jesus) will make it possible for us to give him a befitting celebration, inwardly and outwardly.
Hence, for this week, I'll be pushing us into the season of Christmas... hahaha
Today is November 26... 29 days from today is Christmaaaaaaas
I was shocked when I heard the sound of Christmas knock out last week. At first, I thought it was gunshot. But when I checked through my window, I saw that it was Christmas Fireworks. Wow!

I will be presenting the wonderful Christmas song, Silent Night.
Silent night is a beautiful piece that speaks about that beautiful night, that calm night and that wondrous night when Christ, the mighty King, was born in a lowly manger; in the arms of his beloved Mother.
While there are many beautiful Christmas songs that tell the tale of the infancy narrative of Jesus in a beautiful manner, this particular piece focuses on the calmness and brightness of that memorable night.
Christ is the light that dispels darkness; the light that shines forth and enlightens the heart and minds of those who believe in Him. In Christ we find hope, redemption, solace, calmness and joy.
As we look forward to the celebration of Christmas, we need to focus more on internal preparation of our hearts and mind, so that Christ will be born in the little mangers of our heart, and He will rule!

My friend, how unfortunate to read about the situation your country is going through. I know exactly how you must feel. I tell you that here I stand in line for gas for up to 8 hours. But anyway, the good thing is that you have brought that Christmas spirit that definitely gives light to hope and faith. Your presentation is very beautiful. Bravo!
Its so painful. And these fuel stations will use this as an opportunity to add unnecessary charges. Just to make money.

Wonderful performance my friend. You have brought the Christmas spirit to the Hive Music Festival. In the church where I attend is a hymn that is not lacking at this time. The Spirit of Christmas is a spirit of peace and happiness. It is the Spirit of Christ, the gift of his birth, and all that he has done for Humanity. I loved that you will play the flute. Truly, this hymn is one that is accepted by Christians of various denominations. Those who aren't Christians but join in the Christmas celebrations also know this tune.

It is so lovely to hear this words from a wonderful professional "recordist." I remember the Tutorial you made on German and Baroque finger chart on F# for the Recorder. The lines you also played in that tutorial was mind blowing.
