On Saturday, April 26 the next meeting of the Practical Philosophy Club will again take place at the Kingdom (Biskupia St. 18/1). This time, we the topic is "Emigration - seek or escape". The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m., and the discussion will be held in English. Admission, as always, is free.

1. Is immigration good or bad for a host country?

2. Does leaving your homeland mean abandoning part of who you are, or freeing yourself to become who you truly are?

3. Is a rootless life a symptom of modern freedom, or of deep existential disorientation?

4. Do we have a moral obligation to stay and improve our homeland, or is the pursuit of personal flourishing always justifiable?

5. Can a person have multiple 'homes' in the full existential sense of the word, or is ‘home’ necessarily singular and sacred?

6. What is the difference between escape and migration? Can emigration be a form of cowardice—or courage?
