Mis inicios en la Musica historia llena de mucho amor recuerdos y Rock And Roll [Esp-Eng]

El escenario se convirtió en nuestro hogar, donde compartíamos nuestra energía y nuestra música con aquellos que compartían nuestra pasión. Juntos, contribuimos al vibrante panorama musical underground de nuestra ciudad, dejando nuestra marca en cada nota y cada grito.

Hasta la fecha, desde 2018, debido a la situación política y social en nuestro país, decidimos tomar un largo receso en nuestros ensayos y proyectos. No solo afectó a Brooken, sino también a otras bandas en las que participamos, como Miserihun, Astor, y muchas más. Muchos de mis amigos y colegas también experimentaron el proceso de migración en Venezuela. A pesar de estas dificultades, continuamos trabajando de forma remota.

Broken el reencuentro

No fue hasta el 2023 que finalmente comenzamos a reunirnos nuevamente y retomamos todo lo que habíamos dejado en pausa durante estos años. Es un momento emocionante para nosotros, ya que nos sentimos revitalizados y listos para seguir adelante con nuestra pasión por la música.

Con el resurgimiento de nuestra pasión y el reencuentro con nuestros compañeros de banda, estamos listos para enfrentar los desafíos que se presenten en el camino. Nuestra música es más que un simple pasatiempo; es nuestra forma de expresarnos, de conectar con el mundo y de hacer frente a las adversidades. Aunque el camino pueda ser difícil, sabemos que mientras tengamos la música, tendremos la fuerza para superar cualquier obstáculo.

Con determinación y dedicación, continuaremos escribiendo nuestra historia, dejando una marca imborrable en la escena musical, tanto en nuestra ciudad como más allá. ¡Que la música siga siendo nuestra guía en este emocionante viaje!

In this opportunity, I have the joy of sharing a little bit about my musical life over the years, a unique and special experience for me, since I have been surrounded by amazing musicians and talents since I was very young.

It all started thanks to my father and grandfather. From an early age, I had the opportunity to listen to music thanks to my father. At that time, my father was in the navy and was the director of the navy orchestra and was responsible for the marching band at the time. His focus was on composition and mastering multiple instruments. After his retirement from the navy, he decided to continue making music in his hometown, where he received great recognition.

However, my connection to music didn't stop there. Since my childhood, I have been immersed in this fascinating world. My home always resonated with melodies, harmonies and a passion for creating music. As I grew up, I explored different genres, instruments and styles, nourishing myself with the diversity of sound that surrounded me.

Here is a little bit of the story of my father who is no longer with us on this earthly plane, but who left us a lot of knowledge and lots and lots of music.

Over time, this passion became a fundamental part of my life. Music has not only been my refuge in difficult times, but also my companion in times of joy and celebration. It has been a journey full of discovery, personal growth and deep connections with other music lovers.

As time went on, my connection to rock became a unique experience. One of the first artists that inspired me to delve into this vast world was the music of artists such as Sting, Phil Collins and John Lennon, among others. I grew up listening to this kind of music at home, thanks to my mother and grandmother.

It wasn't until I was 16 years old that I had the opportunity to get my first instrument: a Washburn X100 4-string bass. I started practicing on my own and also took some lessons at the Tecnológico de Música in Valencia. It was there where I met colleagues who shared similar tastes to mine, which encouraged me to explore other musical genres.

That's how I started to get into heavier and more robust terrain. I started listening to bands like Iron Maiden, Megadeth and Metallica, which offered a more forceful and energetic sound. This new musical exploration broadened my horizons and allowed me to discover different nuances within the world of rock.

Years later, I started rehearsing and being part of several musical projects in Venezuela, together with other musicians with whom I shared my passion for metal. We were inspired by bands like Slayer, Kreator and Immortal, as well as more underground genres like black and death metal.

With this influence, we created the band Brooken, which was characterized by fusing elements of death and thrash metal. Our music was rooted in the Valencia scene and was defined by its intensity and aggressiveness. It was an honor to be part of this project and contribute to the underground music scene of our city.

The stage became our home, where we shared our energy and our music with those who shared our passion. Together, we contributed to the vibrant underground music scene of our city, leaving our mark on every note and every shout.

To date, since 2018, due to the political and social situation in our country, we decided to take a long break in our rehearsals and projects. It affected not only Brooken, but also other bands we participated in, such as Miserihun, Astor, and many more. Many of my friends and colleagues also experienced the migration process in Venezuela. Despite these difficulties, we continue to work remotely.

Broken the reunion.

It wasn't until 2023 that we finally started meeting again and resumed everything we had put on hold during these years. It is an exciting time for us as we feel revitalized and ready to move forward with our passion for music.

With the resurgence of our passion and the reunion with our bandmates, we are ready to face the challenges that come our way. Our music is more than just a hobby; it is our way of expressing ourselves, connecting with the world and facing adversity. Although the road may be difficult, we know that as long as we have the music, we will have the strength to overcome any obstacle.

With determination and dedication, we will continue to write our history, leaving an indelible mark on the music scene, both in our city and beyond. May music continue to be our guide on this exciting journey.
