You Lie, Cheat & Steal...
Do any of the above and You are not anyone that I wish to associate with.
You see, I deal with liars every day in the freight relocation industry that I am a part of. Unfortunately there is no way around this. Many of the lies that Freight Brokers use are omissions. Not giving all the details of a load you are trying to sell me to haul for You. Well that is lying in my book. 100% of the time it is a negative detail or impossible to achieve schedule.
To me the 3rd party broker or further removed to even 4th or 5th are the bottom feeders of the trucking industry. An example of who this most often is would be a foreigner in this country who is given a questionable visa from a corrupt administration and a grant to buy a very expensive Freight Brokering License. They should not be allowed to operate in this business in this manner.
I refuse to use one of these shady freight relocation businesses. I can usually tell right away from the first few sentences if they are one of these Liars who cheat and steal from the hard working owner operators of this industry. Many of them I just hang up on as their english and accent will be so horrible that a conversation would be difficult. I always research the load information posters contact info/address etc. Before attempting to contact them. Many times the info there will be full of Tells or Hints.
An example of one of these scammers that I had a breif conversation with lately...
His contact info name was Jason Aldeen
I laughed out loud at this, but called anyways thinking maybe I would be talking to a famous country singer.
When I called His accent was heavy Russian/Ukrainian. He was polite and friendly. Good english so Not hard to understand. But right away the load information posted that I called about was not available. The sales pitch that He is giving quickly moves to a horribly low paying heavy load with impossible to meet time frames on picking up and delivery. The polite and friendly liars recieve the same in return by me as I decline to hear any more and tell them to have a nice day.
To wrap up this #weekend-engagement True Story of Liars who Cheat & Steal that I have to deal with in this trucking industry. Just let me say THANK YOU to the honest and trustworthy Hive people who follow along here in this most awesome community. 😉
