My First Time...
This is my first #threetunetuesday post, so it has to be epic right.?
A post that makes you go "WOW!" or "WTF was that?"
I recently posted about losing my musical virginity, my first time owning music, over in the @galenkp #weekendengagement community.
You can see that most awesome (non sexual) music post Here
One of Three
A song that perfectly describes my life of travel. You do know they write these songs about You and I right?
I have been a "captive listening audience" so to speak for over 30 years now. And a music lover since my early years. By captive audience I am referring to the over 3 million miles I have driven safely without killing anyone. Not much you can do while driving but listen to music and talk radio. For many years I had a siriusXM radio subscription. When they raised the monthly subscription rates. I told em c-ya later.
Music Saved My Life
Many times music has saved me. How you ask? Driving long hours. 22+ straight is my longest (not legal) I left Phoenix AZ. And did not stop until FLA. (Ok a couple pee breaks and maybe a sammich)
To keep yourself going on a long drive you have to keep your brain entertained. Music does that. And sheer will power also.
Two of Three
Another song about moving on down the highway, go figure huh? This time on 2 wheels...
Imagine listening to music 24-7 for all these years while traveling the highways here in the USA. You do not want to play name that tune with me. I am a shark when it comes to that.
So name this tune...
Three of Three
Another 2 wheeler tune. Imagine that. I have ridden a scoot in one form or another since my earliest memories. From the pedal to the engine kind. To ride a 2 wheeler to me is an escape. A zen like experience when away from traffic. Just me and my machine out on some twisty turny blacktop is the best. The only reason Insanity has not taken my @krazzytrukker mind away from me, and it has been quite an epic battle, is my therapist.
Dr. Harley Davidson
(pictured here)
Let me finger paint you a picture of the scene as I post this in real time. I just parked on a three night layover load that pays pretty good. The sun is just rising.
I lay here in the bunk of this big rig now. A Prime Mover as I now call it. Thanks Bro (Galen)
The thumping of the heavy bass in these 3T's. The music turned up just loud enough to make Samantha Jo wrinkle her nose slightly. And maybe the neighboring truck I am parked beside to think, wtf is that?
I have over 400 watts and 10 speakers. 2 of them subwoofers. It is quite loud but very rarely turned up. Sammi Jo has sensitive hearing. Me... Not so much
Basking in the afterglow of what I can only describe as one of my favorite posts to create so far.
Musicgasmic
Thanks for √'n out my very first 3 Tune Tuesday!
Keep on KrazzyTrukkin'
Sammi Jo Jammin'
If you don't listen to all of Simple Man I'll be grossly offended like the time Jack in The Box wouldn't let Rook inside. Are they even in business anymore?
Excellent selection Rand. Thanks for inspiring this comment.
I kept waiting for the Skynyrd sample or chorus.
Who was that at the end. Sounded like William Shatner..?
Nice dude.
Just always be yourself.
What did you think? Be brutally honest.
Not my style. I will listen to rap out of curiosity mainly.
Very old school. Reminded me of the earlier rappers. Hardcore is a word that might fit.?
Were you ever Gene Simmons for Halloween?
WTF..? Nope.
Usually zombie or monster type getup.
My last Halloween celebration was 1992 ish..?
I was the "Shit Happens Demon."
I Took 2nd place in a costume contest. Lost to a mummy. (The girl I was bangin), Won $50 at the local watering hole I called home for nearly ten years. Till I kicked the drinking barroom habit. Went truckin' WTF was I thinkin'?
I Loved That Bar..!!
Now when I go to the bar it be like...
Hey, welcome to #TTT! Epic indeed!
I can't imagine driving that much, that far, for that long. I do like a good roadtrip, particularly when it ends, though. I admire what you're able to do.
Nice to have the cat with you. :)
Nice one @krazzytrukker, pull a chair, grab a cold one from the fridge and welcome to #ttt
Good trio of tunes for your opener, and dig the truck, bike and cat too, nice one man.
Thanks,
I used to enjoy @jaynie weekly tune contest. But I guess she is not ever coming back?
I L👀k forward to the Tuesday Tune postings.
