Reviewing Lee Know's SOLO "Youth" + Rising Star Stat Update + Packs Opening!
Hello, it's me again :)
¡Qué complicado que es subir de nivel! A pesar de que por fin desbloqueé la misión "Saturday Headline", me es muy complicado avanzar de nivel. Actualmente, estoy por llegar al nivel 27, a pesar de que consigo bastante experiencia de esa misión.
Solo es cuestión de tiempo claramente para que pueda seguir avanzando cada vez más en el juego. Pero por el momento, ¿Qué tal si abrimos algunos paquetes para completar la colección?

Leveling up is so complicated! Even though I finally unlocked the "Saturday Headline" mission, it's really hard for me to advance. I'm currently about to reach level 27, even though I get a good amount of experience from that mission.
It's clearly just a matter of time until I can keep progressing further in the game. But for now, how about we open some packs to complete the collection?

Por supuesto, hay consideraciones sobre esta sección y el análisis que se hará para que no sea la típica "este tema me gustó 7/10".
Para analizarlos, escucharé no sólo la canción sino el álbum / single completo de donde esta haya salido. Esto me dará un margen mejor de análisis del artista y de la composición más que pensar solamente en una canción singular sin ningún tipo de conexto. La idea de este tipo de dinámicas es también identificar qué canción es buena para el álbum y cuales no lo son, o si es una canción floja pero no es necesariamente la canción principal del álbum, claramente la tendré en cuenta de una forma distinta.
Se analizará cada canción del álbum / single, y además, le daré un punaje a cada una, finalizando en un puntaje del álbum / single completo. Estos luego irán a un Excel donde tengo mis opiniones musicales formadas.
Sin nada más que decir, comencemos:
Of course, there are considerations about this section and the analysis that will be done so that it is not the typical ‘yeah I like this track 7/10’.
To analyse them, I will listen not only to the song but to the whole album / single from which it came out. This will give me a better scope of analysis of the artist and the composition rather than just thinking about a singular song without any kind of connection. The idea of this kind of dynamic is also to identify which song is good for the album and which are not, or if it is a not so bad song but not necessarily the main song on the album, clearly I will think about it in a different way.
Each song on the album / single will be analysed, and in addition, I will give a score to each song, ending in a score for the whole album / single. These will then go into an Excel where I have my musical opinions formed.

Lee Know o como le decimos todos, Lino, es uno de los bailarines principales de Stray Kids, nacido el Corea del Sur y criado en el mismo lugar, Lino ha pasado por otras empresas cuando era más joven, particularmente, ¡siendo bailarín de respaldo para BTS! ¿No es acaso eso genial?
Este integrante junto a sus 7 compañeros ha sacado una canción para lo que en el fandom se llama "SKZ - Player", que son canciones no sacadas como grupo, sino individualmente. En este álbum, HOP, se pueden apreciar las 8 canciones solistas de cada uno de los miembros de Stray Kids.
Lino tiene un talento innato para bailar. Sus movimientos son muy fluidos y vistosos, además de técnicos y específicos. ¡Él hizo la coreografía de "Hellevator", la canción debut de Stray Kids! Pero si hay algo que hace bien además de bailar, es cantar
Con la salida de Woojin del grupo, tuvo que tomar clases de canto para ayudar a los dos vocalistas del grupo, I.N y Seungmin, y ¡no lo hace nada mal, eh! Su tono de voz es cautivador y lleno de emociones
Ciertamente le tengo un cariño, ya que mi hermana es bias Lee Know, entonces lo veo todos los días (literalmente) cuando voy a su habitación. Pero más allá de eso, es un idol muy capaz, con habilidades tanto para el canto, como para el baile. ¿Qué tal si vemos de qué es capaz en esta canción solista?
Lee Know, or as we all call him, Lino, is one of the main dancers of Stray Kids. Born and raised in South Korea, Lino worked for other companies when he was younger, notably as a backup dancer for BTS! How cool is that?
This member, along with his seven bandmates, has released a song for what the fandom calls "SKZ - Player." These are songs not released as a group, but individually. In this album, HOP, you can find eight solo songs from each of the Stray Kids members.
Lino has an innate talent for dancing. His movements are incredibly fluid and eye-catching, as well as technical and precise. He even choreographed "Hellevator," Stray Kids' debut song! But if there's one thing he does well besides dancing, it's singing.
After Woojin left the group, Lino had to take singing lessons to help the group's two main vocalists, I.N and Seungmin, and he's not bad at all! His vocal tone is captivating and full of emotion.
I certainly have a soft spot for him, as my sister's bias is Lee Know, so I see him every day (literally) when I go to her room. But beyond that, he's a very capable idol, with skills in both singing and dancing. How about we see what he's capable of in this solo song?

Comenzamos con un setting medio como que si se estuviera jugando un Bingo. Inmediatamente podemos escuchar un sonido distorsionado de lo que sería la base, y no mucho después arranamos a escuchar la voz de Lino. Tenemos una base muy "pop" y "Funky", ¿verdad? Escuchándose mucho los bajos, y cada parte donde se tiene que hacer énfasis muy marcado por los snares. Esto no dura más de 20 segundos porque nos preparamos para entrar a una especie de pre-coro
Esta sección olvida todo lo anterior, incluyendo algunos elementos de EDM, reemplazando esas notas marcadas por la batería que escuchamos anteriormente, por estos sonidos más "fiesteros". Podemos oír a Lino pegar una nota bastante alta, y comienza el estribillo
Escuchamos una melodía bastante pop y pegadiza, no muy complicada en letra, solamente 2 oraciones y la tercera pegando una nota aguda, característica de Lino. Escuchamos esto una vez más para que se nos termine de entrar en el cerebro cuál será la melodía principal de la canción, y pasamos a una especie de post-coro, muy cortito, pero recuérdenlo.
Inmediatamente pasamos al segundo verso, teniendo una melodía muy similar al estribillo, pero al mismo tiempo combinada con la primera parte de la canción, ¿no les suena muy pegadizo este ritmo? Además, es angelical la voz de Lino en esta sección, sin dudas, reluce su habilidad de canto. En el videoclip también podemos ver su coreografía, que dicho sea de paso, está bastante divertida y no es muy exigida para presentaciones en vivo.
Llegamos al segundo precoro que es exactamente igual al primero, y también como el primer estribillo, se repite el mismo patrón de canto, y de melodías, esta vez finalizando en lo que va a servir como una especie de puente para la canción
El puente desacelera la instrumental tanto en instrumentos como en tempo, y podemos escuchar unos versos de extra, además de una nota altísima y aguda por parte del cantante. Entramos de lleno al último estribillo mientras de fondo se sigue escuchando la nota extendida, cambiando solamente un poco la lírica en el proceso, y finalizando como habíamos mencionado antes, con ese post-coro cortito.
Y eso es todo. ¿Ya? Sí, otra canción de menos 3 minutos. ¡Qué lástima!
Puntuación: 8/10
We start with a setting that feels a bit like a Bingo game. Immediately, we hear a distorted sound that seems to be the base, and not long after, Lino's voice comes in. The song have a very "pop" and "funky" base, isn't it? The bass is prominent, and every part that needs emphasis is strongly marked by the snares. This doesn't last more than 20 seconds before we get ready to enter a kind of pre-chorus.
This section drops everything from before, adding some EDM elements and replacing those marked drum notes we heard earlier with more "party" sounds. We can hear Lino hit a quite high note, and then the chorus begins.
We hear a very pop and catchy melody, with lyrics that aren't very complicated—just two sentences, and the third hitting a high note, characteristic of Lino. We hear this once more to really engrain the main melody of the song into our brains, and then we move to a very short post-chorus, short but memorable.
Immediately, we move to the second verse, which has a melody very similar to the chorus but also combined with the first part of the song. Isn't this rhythm very catchy? What's more, Lino's voice in this section is angelic; his singing ability truly shines in this kind of sections. In the music video, we can also see his choreography, which, by the way, is quite fun and not too demanding for live performances.
We hear then the second pre-chorus, which is exactly like the first, and the second chorus, which is the same as the first one, the same singing and melodic pattern is repeated, this time ending in what will serve as a kind of bridge for the song.
The bridge slows down the instrumental, both in terms of instruments and tempo, and we can hear some extra verses, plus a very high, sharp note from the singer. We jump straight into the final chorus while the extended note continues in the background, only slightly changing the lyrics in the process and ending, as we mentioned before, with that short post-chorus.
And that's it. Already? Yes, another song under three minutes. What a shame!

Sin lugar a dudas esta canción es una de las mejores del álbum. No tiene un significado tan profundo tal vez como las demás, pero es bastante pegadiza, y te hace olvidar esos momentos malos del día, y ponerte a escuchar solamente esta canción en bucle
¡Un dato interesante de esta canción es que fue escrita por Lee Know mismo! Por lo cual tiene un mérito extra, que, además de haber hecho la coreografía, también escribió la letra. (Aunque aún no sepa producir canciones, se está acercando al arte de la composición).
Para mí, esta canción se gana el tercer puesto dentro de mi consideración. ¡Es muy divertida! Pero le falta algo que las hace menos interesante que las anteriores.

Without a doubt, this song is one of the best on the album. It might not have as deep a meaning as the others, but it's incredibly catchy, and it makes you forget about the bad moments of the day and just listen to it on loop.
An interesting fact about this song is that it was written by Lee Know himself! This gives it extra merit, as not only did he do the choreography, but he also wrote the lyrics. (Even if he can't produce songs yet, he's getting closer to the art of composition.)
For me, this song earns third place in my ranking. It's a lot of fun! But it's missing something that makes it slightly less interesting than the previous ones.
