Reviewing Felix's SOLO "Unfair" + Rising Star Stat Update + Packs Opening!

Estuve jugando un tiempo más, hasta que por fin pude desbloquear al ante última misión standard, "Saturday Support". Esta me da mucha más experiencia que las demás, así que lo considero un buen logro :)
I kept playing for a while longer, until I finally managed to unlock the second to last standard mission, "Saturday Support". This one gives me much more experience than the others, so I consider it a good achievement :)
Y también por fin estoy por quitarme el ego de encima. Ya está por el 30%, así que no falta mucho para poder obtener todas las recompensas sin limitaciones y que no afecte a mis fans. Pero hablando de fans, estaría necesitando mas... cartas... así que, ¿por qué no abrimos paquetes?

Nuevamente, les preparé una review con video musical. Esta vez, se trata del siguiente solo, que sería el 3ro de 8 de los chicos de Stray Kids, llamado "Unfair", de Felix.
Once again, I prepared a review with a music video for you all. This time, it's about the next solo, which would be the 3rd of 8 from the guys of Stray Kids, called "Unfair", by Felix.
Por supuesto, hay consideraciones sobre esta sección y el análisis que se hará para que no sea la típica "este tema me gustó 7/10".
Para analizarlos, escucharé no sólo la canción sino el álbum / single completo de donde esta haya salido. Esto me dará un margen mejor de análisis del artista y de la composición más que pensar solamente en una canción singular sin ningún tipo de conexto. La idea de este tipo de dinámicas es también identificar qué canción es buena para el álbum y cuales no lo son, o si es una canción floja pero no es necesariamente la canción principal del álbum, claramente la tendré en cuenta de una forma distinta.
Se analizará cada canción del álbum / single, y además, le daré un punaje a cada una, finalizando en un puntaje del álbum / single completo. Estos luego irán a un Excel donde tengo mis opiniones musicales formadas.

Of course, there are considerations about this section and the analysis that will be done so that it is not the typical ‘yeah I this track 7/10’.
To analyse them, I will listen not only to the song but to the whole album / single from which it came out. This will give me a better scope of analysis of the artist and the composition rather than just thinking about a singular song without any kind of connection. The idea of this kind of dynamic is also to identify which song is good for the album and which are not, or if it is a not so bad song but not necessarily the main song on the album, clearly I will think about it in a different way.
Each song on the album / single will be analysed, and in addition, I will give a score to each song, ending in a score for the whole album / single. These will then go into an Excel where I have my musical opinions formed.

Nacido en Australia, Lee Felix ha audicionado en la convocatoria de JYP en 2017 luego de realizar un rap freestyle. Lo que impacta mucho de este integrante es su capacidad vocal, siendo al mismo tiempo tan baja y grave, como aguda.
Este integrante junto a sus 7 compañeros ha sacado una canción para lo que en el fandom se llama "SKZ - Player", que son canciones no sacadas como grupo, sino individualmente. En este álbum, HOP, se pueden apreciar las 8 canciones solistas de cada uno de los miembros de Stray Kids.
La voz de Felix en particular es una de las que siempre resuenan en las canciones de Stray Kids, causando lo que en el fandom se denomina "Felix Effect". Este fenómeno se define como "el choque entre lo que escuchamos cuando Felix habla (voz de demonio) y lo que vemos (un rubiecito princesa).
Dado que a Felix se lo conoce más por "momentos icónicos", ¿por qué no vemos la canción completa a ver qué tal es?
Born in Australia, Lee Felix auditioned for JYP Entertainment in 2017 after performing a freestyle rap. What is very striking about this member is his vocal range, being both very low and deep, as well as high-pitched.
This member, along with his 7 bandmates, has released a song for what is called "SKZ-Player" in the fandom, which are songs not released as a group, but individually. In this album, HOP, you can appreciate the 8 solo songs of each of the Stray Kids members.
Felix's voice, in particular, is one that always resonates in Stray Kids' songs, causing what is called the "Felix Effect" in the fandom. This phenomenon is defined as "the clash between what we hear when Felix speaks (demon voice) and what we see (a blonde princess)."
Given that Felix is best known for "iconic moments," why don't we watch the full song to see how it is?

La canción comienza lentamente con unos sonidos parecidos a un tocadiscos viejo por 20 segundos, hasta que escuchamos a Felix comenzar el tema. En una base de ra/hiphop podemos escuchar en lo que es especialista Felix, un pequeño rap hablado, y la letra misma "Mi vida es tan injusta, todos me ven como un monstruo, pero nadie como el humano que hay en mí."
Pasamos al primer verso, un poco más lento, escuchamos el bajo registro de la voz de Felix. Esta vez sí, con una base más parecida al rap por ahí del 2010 - 2015, con un pianito de fondo. La letra habla totalmente de cómo la chica le cambió la vida solamente por aparecer y deslumbrar su vida. Una letra hermosa la verdad.
Luego de algunas barras, podemos ver cómo entramos de nuevo a la primera parte, que sería el coro. Igual que el primero, se suma un pequeño violín detrás para acompañar la emoción de tristeza que comunica la canción. Inmediatamente entramos a una sección donde el rap se vuelve mucho más rápido y agresivo, y es acá donde la voz de Felix brilla en su totalidad, cuando podemos apreciar los sentimientos impotencia y dolor a través de las palabras que recita.
Esta sección no dura mucho y pasamos a una totalmente distinta, mucho más lenta y al mismo tiempo lo notamos también en la voz de Felix, la cual se volvió más hablada, tiene un tono un poco más agudo, más parecido a lo que sería el trap moderno (en la forma de hablar), y modulando un poco menos las palabras, para darle ese ambiente. Esto no dura más que un par de barras, escuchando de nuevo la voz poderosa de Felix otra vez a flote.
Este pedacito musical estaría sirviendo como un "puente" para llevarnos a la última parte de la canción, donde en oraciones volvemos a escuchar el mismo patrón que en los otros 2 coros, el del principio y el que sonó luego del primer verso, sin realizar ningún cambio en la estructura, solamente en la lírica.
La canción termina con la instrumental suavizándose a medida que Felix va tarareando su "Hmmm~", haciendo al final del mismo un ajuste en su voz para que caiga la nota a un tono mucho más grave y casi suene como si fuera un sintentizador más.
La canción en sí es una canción muy corta, solamente dura 2 minutos 54 segundos donde 20 son de isntroducción y más o menos otros 20 de cierre, por lo que solo tenemos contenido por 2 minutos aproximadamente, los cuales se resolvieron en la forma Coro > Verso > Coro > Verso > Puente > Coro como la gran mayoría de canciones de K-Pop resuelven. Lamentablemente es una canción muy corta, no es tan de mi agrado el feeling medio rap, pero la canción en sí es muy bella, transmite un mensaje muy pero muy lindo, y el videoclip, nada para hablar, simplemente espectacular.

The song begins slowly with sounds resembling an old record player for 20 seconds, until we hear Felix start the track. On a rap/hip-hop base, we can hear what Felix specializes in, a short spoken rap, and the lyrics themselves: "My life is so unfair, everyone sees me as if I'm the beast out there. I wanna just be myself, no one can truly see the human inside me"
We move on to the first verse, a bit slower, and we hear the low register of Felix's voice. This time, with a base more similar to rap from around 2010 - 2015, with a piano in the background. The lyrics speak entirely about how the girl changed his life simply by appearing and dazzling his world. A beautiful lyric, truly.
After a few bars, we can see how we enter the first part again, which would be the chorus. Just like the first one, a small violin is added in the background to accompany the emotion of sadness that the song communicates. Immediately, we enter a section where the rap becomes much faster and more aggressive, and it is here where Felix's voice shines in its entirety, when we can appreciate the feelings of helplessness and pain through the words he recites.
This section doesn't last long, and we move on to a completely different one, much slower, and at the same time, we notice it in Felix's voice as well, which became more spoken, has a slightly higher pitch, more similar to what modern trap would be (in the way of speaking), and modulating the words a little less to give it that atmosphere. This lasts no more than a couple of bars, hearing Felix's powerful voice afloat again.
This little musical piece would be serving as a "bridge" to take us to the last part of the song, where in sentences we hear the same pattern as in the other 2 choruses, the one at the beginning and the one that sounded after the first verse, without making any changes in the structure, only in the lyrics.
The song ends with the instrumental softening as Felix hums his "Hmmm~", making an adjustment in his voice at the end of it so that the note falls to a much lower pitch and almost sounds like another synthesizer.
The song itself is a very short song, it only lasts 2 minutes and 54 seconds, where 20 are introduction and roughly another 20 in the end of the song, so we only have content for approximately 2 minutes, which was resolved in the form Chorus > Verse > Chorus > Verse > Bridge > Chorus as the vast majority of K-Pop songs are resolved. Unfortunately, it is a very short song, the somewhat rap feeling is not really to my liking, but the song itself is very beautiful, it conveys a very, very lovely message, and the music video, nothing to say, simply spectacular.

Bueno muchachos, esta fue mi reacción para la canción "Unfair" de Felix, y la verdad, estuve muy sorprendido de la habilidad vocal del integrante del grupo coreano, ya que no esperaba en absoluto que fuera 1) tan bueno rapeando y 2) tan bueno complementando este tipo de melodías.
La canción es simplemente muy bella desde el videoclip hasta el significado mismo de la canción, y la letra en sí. ¿Pudieron notar las referencias que se fueron dando a medida que se reproducía la canción? Exacto. Está inspirada toalmente en "La Bella y la Bestia", por eso hay algunos nombres que tal vez resultaban conocidos como Gastón, o Belle.
Es una canción muy linda del álbum, lástima que sí, es muy corta en comparación de las demás, y quisiera que tuviera más partes para poder disfrutar, pero es lo que hay. Es una muy buena canción, y por supuesto, me encantó, particularmente la letra.

Well folks, this was my reaction to Felix's song "Unfair", and honestly, I was very surprised by the vocal ability of the member of the Korean group, as I absolutely didn't expect him to be 1) so good at rapping and 2) so good at complementing these kinds of melodies.
The song is simply very beautiful from the music video to the very meaning of the song, and the lyrics themselves. Were you able to notice the references that appeared as the song played? Exactly. It is totally inspired by "Beauty and the Beast", which is why there are some names that perhaps seemed familiar, like Gaston, or Belle.
It's a very nice song from the album, it's a shame that yes, it's very short compared to the others, and I wish it had more parts to enjoy, but it is what it is. It's a very good song, and of course, I loved it, particularly the lyrics.
