With his band Stereophonics, singer and guitarist Kelly Jones, who comes from the Welsh coal-mining village of Cwmaman, has made it to the upper echelons of the global rock class.

The Stereophonics, named after the model name of a gramophone belonging to drummer Stuart Cable's grandmother, play in front of tens of thousands of people, their albums conquer the charts, and with his country side project Far From Saints, Jones even achieved a surprise success in the USA.

On his third solo work "Inevitable Incredible", however, the 50-year-old shows a completely different side: Kelly Jones sits alone at the piano and turns his innermost being outward. Recorded in a remote island studio in Norway, the eight quiet songs deliver 33 minutes of deep inner feeling.
