Catchy Tunes: Under the shadow of another love
Tom Odell is not one of the shrill, loud and selfish ones. The Brit was 22 when he landed his first hit - and this catchy tune called "Another Love" has been the background noise of his career ever since. Odell has produced five albums to date. But it is "Another Love" that keeps bringing him into the charts when a new generation discovers it.
"Black Friday" is also undeservedly overshadowed by the super hit, although the nine songs breathe the same spirit. Tom Odell sings with a tender voice, more of a whisper than a scream. The guitar hums, there are four instrumental interludes. Fantastic.
