I will survive.

Good day, everyone.

Is another day to hope on. It is always a pleasure to share my inspiring experience across here with a little and as much that is happening within my axis, which has become an inspiration to my path. Hence, in today's inspiration, I will be narrating down the reasons I choose to survive in the midst of the odds.

I still remember when I was still a little child growing up under my parents hood, enjoying a lot that came my way. Even though I was still small at the age of seven, I can still remember and testify as much as I can regarding the situation in my country, where enjoying everything was within my reach and affordable.

But it all happened that as I was actually growing in line with my age, I discovered that things weren't how I thought they were, and it does not really mean that I was actually wrong with my thoughts then, but it looks to be a strange thing that as I grow up, things keep hiking drastically in line with my age advancing in number as well.

To be honest with you, my country is now seen as a place for the survival of the fittest. Reflecting back in the past with the price of things, back then in 2007–2015, as much as I can remember, when my mother goes to the market with just 1000 naira, our local currency, she needed to get a bike that would assist her to take what she bought home.

But today the reverse has become the case where she no longer needs the help of a bike but just with her little handbag can take the worth of 1000 naira things she bought in the market home. The reason is not only that things have changed but that things have gone wrong with our naira crashing day after day over our US dollar, which is really bad, especially as a country dependent on foreign importation.

It all happened that my country is more dependent on importation than exportation, which has caused the rise of the dollar over the naira, the naira was actually fluctuating between 250 and 350 per US Dollar then, but today it is1250 after it got to its highest high at 1800, down to 1258 at the time of writing this post, which entails you how things have gone wrong.

But the funny thing there as the dollar takes more advantage in price is that the price of things within Nigeria was actually rising at the same rate, but now the naira has taken a little advantage in reducing from 1800 to 1250. The price of things is still at where it is, even after weeks of these recent changes, but there is still nothing to write home about the cost of things.

Well, for me, I will tell you that the essence of every hustling we are doing as humans is just to keep the stomach warm. in the sense that man has to eat for him to survive, even though there are other things that we are looking after to achieve, but getting what to eat comes first. In spite of this hike in commodities within my country, Nigeria has made it obvious that a lot of people cannot feed on three square meals again as they did in the past decades; rather, they are just yawning for a meal per day.

This situation on the ground has already affected both Dick and Tom within the country, which has kept the price of things where men can't lay hands upon them any longer. Within this period of years, a lot of companies have shut down, while transportation is not something everybody can afford again, which has prompted people to enjoy trekking within a limited space of distance.

Even as I know, it is not going to be easy to change. I think changes always start from a point, I always have this instinct that it will get better one day because no condition is made to be permanent. Even at the peak of this inflation within Nigeria, I always remember that I will survive this situation.

It can only start to get better one day, but I always remember that it is just for a while; it can only get better one day when things get right, and it is my pleasure to acknowledge the inspiration from ** I Will Survive" - Gloria Gaynor** that inspired me not to stop pushing as I am doing in the midst of this present darkness of night today, until it breaks where we can all enjoy again.

😱 That is some mighty inflation you have to deal with in Nigeria pfff

The good thing for you is, that you are earning a bit here at HIVE, in US dollars. Well, in HIVE and HBD which is more in line/sync with the US dollar. Even increased in value a little last few weeks.

Did I hear correctly, the Nigerian government is suing Binance? Claiming Binance caused the big inflation?

A perfect music selection for your post! Yes, we will survive! 100% for sure. Well, we have to.

Owww an idea perhaps for those not being able to afford 3 meals a day: Start Intermittent fasting. Whenever I start doing that, I notice my grocery bills decline. I try not to eat for at least 16 hrs, even extending this to 20 hrs quite some days. While doing so, I try an reduce - or fully skip - eating carbs which reduces the hunger feeling even further. In the end, less food intake and less expenses on food. Just a thought 🎶

You Will Survive 🙇

It is curious that so many kilometers away we have a similar situation, although here the Cuban peso is not as devalued as in your country, we are going through a process and growing inflation where our currency is increasingly devalued. I am glad that music helps you to cope, music is always an inspiration. I love this song
