When the money is excess
On Sunday evening, while coming back from the stadium where a friend and I went to watch a live match, we came across a very gigantic building that has already taken good shape compared to how it was some months back. We started imagining the amount of money that must have been invested in the building already, even at the stage it is currently in. What amazed us the most was the fact that the building is owned by a boy below the age of 23.
"Money is not a problem for this boy. There is no way he would complain of not having N10,000 to feed, unlike how most of us struggle," my friend said, and we burst into laughter while comparing the boy's bank account with ours.
In this life, when money is no longer a problem, people do things, unimaginable things, and it becomes so normal.
I will not lie, if I ever get to the stage where money is no longer a problem, I would go ahead and buy one of the top European clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, or even Barcelona. Yes, at that stage of my life, all that would be left is to make a name for myself, I mean to have my name in the book of memories. But then, before going on to make these “crazy” purchases, I would have helped a lot of people and done many good deeds for my family, community, state, and Nigeria as a whole.
There is this song whose lyrics I never get tired of: "AS I GET MONEY EHN." Imagine creating a company that can employ every single person from my community. That would be massive, and it is very much possible with the availability of excess money. What about a situation where I buy Manchester City and force Haaland to switch to goalkeeping? That is very possible too with money, and the world can only complain about my decision. Once Haaland is offered an irresistible amount of money, he would be tempted to take up the goalkeeping position.
Many times, I have come across complaints from people about why celebrities spend millions of dollars while they could have used the money to help hungry people. The truth is that when money is no longer a problem in a man's life, most of the things that once seemed relevant become irrelevant, and the irrelevant ones become relevant. That is just how life is.

Honestly, if money is not a problem there's a lot I want to do for my family and people outside. Truth is I always pray that one day I also want to become rich in other to get things that won't be a problem for me at all.
