The Wicked Producer!

Hello đź‘‹

Some years ago, “Young Jonn the wicked producer” was a loud icon we heard in almost every song released during that period. He was a very famous music producer that every artist making waves at the time had one or two things to do with. In fact, the “Young John the wicked producer” signature on a song added a big vibe to it. The man was extremely good at his craft.

Maybe he got an angelic ministration in one of his dreams—he woke up one day and decided to put his other hand into writing songs and singing as well, and guess what? It blew him to the top.

For people who didn’t know Young Jonn back then, before he fully launched into singing, they would think that his main craft is just to sing.

Young Jonn today is one of those silent releasers of good music that makes waves, even though he doesn't get as much recognition as those at the top of fame in the music industry in Africa at large.

I love his songs a whole lot—and a lot of them as well. One of those tracks that got me marveled at his gift is Xtra Cool.

Mehn, even till today, I still jam this song like it’s newly released. I love the song so much; it's so unique compared to many other songs we heard during that time, and it’s still unique. He produced the song himself and surely added all the ingredients it needed.

Have you heard of the collaboration he did with Davido? OMG! The introduction and video play of that song are very dope.

The title is Dada, and it’s a remix of the original song, Dada. The video of this song is well planned and directed. The involvement of the band team clicked very well with the song.

Davido’s verse in the song is top-notch—he almost stole the show, but that’s good too because it’s a remix.

Big Big Things by Young John featuring Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez

This song came out as a big anthem in the mouths of many with the “Big Big Thing no mo like...”

I love this song so much, especially the chorus and Kizz Daniel’s verse.

My entry for #ttt for the week.

Thanks for reading.
