The Invasion

Coming across the photo above today while scrolling on Facebook, the sweet memories of a friend flooded my head and I couldn't help it—I went on to download some of my favorite tracks to relive them again.
The album reminded me of one of my friends when I was still in villa. His name is Solomon, and he was a die-hard lover of this album when it was released in 2011. One of the craziest memories was how he used to play the songs at the peak volume on their music system, making the whole area sound like there was a party going on. Anytime my dad came back from the farm in the evening to find the party-like noise, he would go straight to their house and turn off the music. We, including my friend Solomon, would start laughing at the authority my dad was exercising, and he would laugh back at us too, questioning Solomon about how he was turning the environment into a party whenever there was electricity.
In the spirit of #ThreeTuneTuesday, I will be sharing three of my favorite tracks from the album.
Incase you don't know about #ttt, please read below;
"Every Tuesday, I'm going to share three songs that I like to listen to, and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post, and I'll come and find the post and upvote it? If you could also use the #threetunetuesday tag, that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize." By @ablaze.
Beautiful Onyinye:
I'm not really into love songs, but this particular one captured my heart, and it still does today. The beats and the lyrics are just out of this world. The chorus is very catchy; in fact, it was on everyone's lips when it was released. Back then, we used it to confess love to our crushes.
Psquare later made a remix of it with Rick Ross, and that track is just too good. I've watched them perform it on stage, and it's so sweet.
Oleburuku:
This isn't a very popular track on the album, but it's one I love so much because I could, and still can, sing it very well. I love how the track was just uncommon compared to what we were used to. The song is all about love and heartbreak, talking about stealing someone's heart away with love. For people who have been in love genuinely, they must have experienced this stage where everything about love feels like enchantment. This is exactly what the song portrays.
Do As I Do:
This is one big track I love so much, and it's not done by Psquare alone; they featured Tiwa Savage and May D. This is one song on the album for which I longed for a video, but it never came. It's a raw party song with a hot beat from beginning to end. Tiwa Savage did so well in her section as the female voice in the song, and May D sparked up the chorus brilliantly.
Bonus track:
After the above-mentioned, the next track on my list is 'Chop My Money'. This song was something else when it came out; it was so relatable, just the way ladies want to chop guys' money. They featured May D, and later in the remix, Akon was featured. I love this track.
Thanks for reading.

Lol, you have read it o so give me a proper reply. It can't be unread😜
I truly miss the old Psquare. I was staying in portharcourt when this album dropped back then, and seeing it here now just brings back a lot of memories. Do As I Do is also one of my favourites, same as Jeje and Forever. Back then in portharcourt, Forever and Bunieya Enu were the most popular
You mentioned Jeje👍👍👍👍
Forever and Bunieya Enu were too loud/common to me...if not, they were among the most popular 😅
