There's a particular joy that fills the hearts of music lovers whenever they see one of their favourite artists, who had disappeared, return with a banger.

Tekno has returned to the scene with a banger titled “Alhaji” after many years of ghosting in the industry. The thing is, this latest song of his is not as pronounced as the way overly famous people in the industry get announced whenever they release a song, but it's good too, because the people who knew this guy back then are enjoying his latest track, and it brings back old memories of when he was buzzing with back-to-back hit songs. Just when I thought we were just a few who knew this song, I came across many dance vibes of it on social media — and it's good. Currently, I'm playing this song on repeat, and I really want to get tired of it soon, but it's just not working. It feels good. 😂

Up till today, I still play this song because of the danceable beat, the well-perfected rhythm that aligns with the beat, the funny lyrics, and also the memories it brings. Like, everything about this song was — and still is — perfect. Whenever it comes on, one must feel it, either by dancing or by nodding in agreement with the song. Good old days!

This is from the same album as the “Wash” track. The two of them have almost the same style, both in beat and in the rhyming of the lyrics, but there are differences too. This is also a love song, and the lyrics are well-coordinated with good and funny lines. I love this track so much as well. His unique dance steps — he didn’t fail to display them very well in this track.
