Knowing how to spend the money

There is this situation that our pastor usually uses in his preaching, and it is about how he met a man who did money rituals and was being given a voluminous amount of money daily. The condition was that he must spend and finish everything within one day, otherwise, he would die.

That is really a critical one, and this may appear simple to a poor man, who might think that if he is given $10,000 every day, he would be able to finish it without stress. But that was exactly the case of the man my pastor met. He eventually ran out of things to buy and ways to spend the money, and then severe sickness struck him. Out of desperation, he started seeking deliverance.

What prompted this story is a music video I watched recently. It is a newly released song, and in the song, a question was asked:

"It's not just about making the money, do you know how to spend it?"

The question sounds simple until you actually have excess money and do not know how to spend it wisely or reasonably. At that point, you could easily be categorized among the people who lack financial discipline. Lol.

For someone who likes the Igbo pattern of highlife, I must say I just love the beat and arrangement of the song. It is surprising to me how this masterpiece came from someone who is not even into music at all. Oh yes, Chief Priest is not a musician. He has money and apparently did not know how to spend it, so he thought it wise to channel some of it into music. Fortunately for him, he is gradually making waves.

In this song, he featured Boypee and Zoro, one of the most fluent and clean rappers in the Igbo section of the music industry. The song carries a highlife beat and a pattern that I strongly feel was sampled from somewhere, but I just could not pinpoint exactly where the whole thing was sampled from.

Overall, it is a good song, with great and entertaining lyrics, and the video is also a blast. As for me, this is the best work of Chief Priest so far in his music career. If he continues like this — of course, with his money invested in promoting his songs — he is definitely going to outshine some of the big boys in the industry already.
