I am beating my chest to say this: if you are into football, be it league football or national team football, and you have never heard of a particular team called the Super Eagles, then you are not up to 2% into football. Yes! It is as clear as that!

Take a look at this song by Solidstar, which he titled Super Eagles. A song dedicated to the team I am talking about. In this song, he clearly stated that no national team can beat the Super Eagles, be it Argentina, Brazil, or Germany.

Oh yeah, there is this feeling you get once your team performs excellently well and you begin to feel like they are the best in the world. That is exactly the feeling we have been having since last night. At this point, even Germany, Brazil, and Argentina combined together cannot defeat the Super Eagles after the excellent performance they put up last night. They walloped a team 4–0, and that has been the standard since the Africa Cup of Nations started in December last year.

There are a lot of songs dedicated to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, and on a day like this, it is a special feeling to enjoy those songs and feel on top of the world.

The most ancient of them all is the song by Austin Okocha Mikado, which he titled Super Eagles Carry Go. Mehn, this song is still a national anthem till today whenever the Nigerian football section is blazing hot.

Most of the Gen Z category of these songs is the one titled Issa Goal, most especially the remix which featured Coca-Cola as the promotional body, with Naira Marley as the major owner of the song. He featured Falz, Simi, Lil Kesh, and Olamide. This song was dedicated to the team during the Russia 2018 World Cup. Mehn, most people were not even born by then. Lol.
