Evergreen video | No One Like You 🎶

It has been 14 years since the video of No One Like You by PSquare was released. The video now appears blurry when viewed on our modern-day high-resolution devices, but that does not take away the beauty of both the song and the video. Till today, the views are still increasing, and comments filled with good memories are still dropping.

Each time I come across the video, I always shower praises on the director of the music video. The video matches the song so perfectly that nothing more could have been done. It is one of those videos that, as you watch it, your mind travels far into space, either imagining how your love life will look, especially on your wedding day, or drifting back to reminisce on the good old days spent with a lover. I must say, this song and the video can make someone shed tears, maybe tears of joy… I do not know.

I will not lie; each time I watch this video, I always imagine myself on my wedding day, possibly with the one I am dedicating this song to. The imagination is always worth imagining. Lol.

Non-Nigerians or Africans may not really understand the weight of this song or the video. Way back in 2012 and beyond, this was a big song used at wedding events, and anytime it came on, it captured the entire environment and got everyone singing and dancing to the cool dancing vibes portrayed in the video.

The song was done by PSquare, twins who are now defunct. These guys gave us evergreen songs when they were still together, and their videos, lyrics, and overall creativity matched so well. This video was done effortlessly, and the other extras who joined in the groove did excellently well. Gosh! I wish we could have this time back.

The song is all about love, unlike many trendy songs these days that talk more about nudity. This one speaks about love emotionally, the beauty of a woman, and above all, the video is clean with no nakedness. It is so decent!
