Tosca en dos épocas y dos teatros//Tosca in two eras and two theatres. (Spa-Eng)

Hola queridos amigos de Hive! Hoy quiero contarles sobre dos presentaciones que tuve en 2024, que como dice el título del post interpreté el Papel de Floria Tosca en dos Galas, la primera fue en el Teatro Teresa Carreño y la segunda en el Teatro Municipal de Caracas.

Hello dear friends of Hive! Today I want to tell you about two performances I had in 2024, as the title of the post says, I played the role of Floria Tosca in two Galas, the first was at the Teresa Carreño Theater and the second at the Municipal Theater of Caracas.

Tosca es una opera verista del compositor Giacomo Puccini que narra el idilio de amor entre Floria Tosca una cantante de opera, Mario Cavaradosi un Pintor amante de Tosca y rl malvado Scarpia un Baron jefe de la Policia de la Roma de 1900

Tosca is a verismo opera by the composer Giacomo Puccini that tells the story of the love affair between Floria Tosca, an opera singer, Mario Cavaradosi, a painter who loves Tosca, and the evil Scarpia, a Baron and chief of the Police in Rome in 1900.

El 2024 fue el centenario de la muerte del Compositor, por ese motivo en todo el mundo se celebraron Galad en su honor y en Venezuela bo fue la excepción.
La primera Gala tomo lugar el 17 de octubre en el prestigioso Teatro Teresa Carreño. Para mi la primera vez interpretando este dificil rol que es un sueño para todas las sopranos que nos dedicamos a la Opera.

2024 was the centenary of the composer's death, for this reason Galas were celebrated in his honour all over the world and in Venezuela it was no exception.
The first Gala took place on October 17 at the prestigious Teresa Carreño Theatre. For me, it was the first time performing this difficult role, which is a dream for all of us sopranos who dedicate ourselves to Opera.

La segunda Gala fue en el Teatro municipal de Caracas en Noviembre, para mi fue muy importante esta gala rn la que inteprete Gran parte de todo el primer acto de la opera y tambien el Aria mas emblematica de la misma.

The second Gala was at the Municipal Theater of Caracas in November. This gala was very important to me, as I performed a large part of the entire first act of the opera and also its most emblematic Aria.

Como les contaba esta gala fue muy especial porque se celebraba la reinauguración del teatro luego de una remodelación, y la primera vez que se hacia opera desde su clausura hace unos 10 años para dicha remodelación.

As I was telling you, this gala was very special because it celebrated the reopening of the theater after a remodeling, and the first time it was operated since its closure about 10 years ago for said remodeling.

Algo muy importante para mi fue que en este teatro yo vi una opera por primera vez y quede totalmente enamorada, de ahi comence a estudiar y casi 12 años mas tarde ser parte de la reinauguración del lugar donde se forjaron mis primeros sueños profesionales es un sueño hecho Realidad.

Something very important for me was that I saw an opera for the first time in this theater and I fell totally in love, from there I began to study and almost 12 years later being part of the reopening of the place where my first professional dreams were forged is a dream come true.
