Sharing Some More Songs From Guitar Hero - TTT

Me and Aimee used to just watch some shows, or YouTube, after getting Kaleb to sleep, now though, we're both rearing to get a few games going on the PlayStation 2, mainly Guitar Hero, but we've played a few other ones.

Barracuda - Heart

Me and Aimee have been having a blast complete Guitar Hero 3, and there are a bunch of songs we've played on it, which I'd completely forgotten about, but could remember enjoying back when I originally played it.

I think this one is a cool song, I like the singers voice, and harmonies, but what I like the most is the chugging guitar riff. I love that galloping kind of sound, in general, but think it sounds deadly in this one, especially as it starts changing a bit.

The Seeker - The Who

I've never been big into The Who, but I'm familiar with some of their songs.

I didn't actually realise this one was them, until we played it the other night on Guitar Hero. I can kind of vaguely remember it in GTA: San Andreas, but I could be wrong.

It's a really good song though, and kind of feels like a good traveling song, which I suppose, makes sense considering it's a song about a seeker, trying to find a way in the world.

Doing a cover of this song, I think, could be a good choice and would go down really well, with just about any crowd.

Anarchy In The UK - Sex Pistols

Can't beat the Pistols, and we recently unlocked this one in the game.

I've always liked Sex Pistols, and I think one of the first times I really got into them, was after watching The Filth and The Fury, which is such a great documentary.

The TV show was fairly good too, Pistol, but it borrowed a lot of inspiration from Steve Jones biography, as opposed to gathering inspiration from everyone involved. But, as far as TV shows go, it was really well done, and I enjoyed it.

One thing is for sure though, for a band that lasted such a short time, they made such an impact, whose ripples are still spreading.

Good selection, very diverse. I had to replay "Seeker" because I didn't remember what it sounded like 😎.
There were three rock and roll songs from different eras.

Yeah actually, I didn't think of it like that, but you're right.

The Seeker is a really cool song, I've been enjoying that one.

That’s a great mix of classic tracks brother. Guitar Hero really brings these songs back to life. Amazing picks

I was unaware of Heart until they had some big hits over here. That is a good one. The Who were real innovators and may have helped kick off a lot of rock bands. I well remember all the fuss about the Pistols when they appeared. Actually they were rarely on TV for obvious reasons.

Hahaha, yeah, they weren't very TV friendly, it's funny though that Johnny Rotton was essentially calling out Jimmy Savile back in the day, I wonder if that had anything to do with the major crackdown on them and their music.
