Keep On Rollin'
Me and Aimee have booked into the hotel we got, and now we just have to wait until 6, until the show starts.
First thing was first, when we got off the bus. Food.
We stopped in the Jervais shopping centre, grabbed some food, and then bopped around a few shops.
The Burger King was certainly the highlight of that place.
From there, we headed straight for the hotel. It's so good we managed to get a hotel. The thought of getting the bus and messing around this evening after the gig was torturous.
Going to gigs is great, but having to rush to get home is annoying, especially from this venue. Most gigs we tend to miss the last couple of songs due to the distance from here to the bus/ dart stops.
Here's a picture of the room.
The price wasn't bad. It was €140 for the night, which is decent considering the typical prices you'd expect to pay up here.
It's cheap and cheerful, and there is a bar/ restaurant attached which we've booked a table in. Aimee being pregnant means that food is our top priority.
Tonight, Limp Bizkit is headlining, and I've been looking forward to this gig for months now.
There are 5 other bands playing, and we've never heard of any of them, so hopefully they're good, and we might come away with some new bands to listen to it from it.
We're going to head down to grab a coffee now, which may put a bit of pep in our step. I'm not planning on drinking tonight, considering Sunday was a bit of a mad one, but we'll see.
