Glad to discover a place on Steemit to share this kind of content... I was unaware. And I really like EDM in general, with an inclination to vinyl artists on the House/Techno side of it.
Mostly House and Techno, also minimal, tech house.
This live set at Boiler Room Punta del Este (city I live in) is amazing!! Both DJs, Koolt and Nicolas Lutz are from Uruguay, the best we have around. I highly recommend both artists and this set is top notch.
Here I brought you the soundcloud of one of the DJs in the video up there, Mr Koolt.
He is a south american legend, playing all over the continent, and luckily for us, staying here instead of going to Europe where most successful DJs go.
Oh well, whatever works. I like to listen a very broad range of genres. Tho I have to say the most popular on my playlists lately is just...silence. :)
Lol sometimes for too long.. right? Music is ephemeral, should have some playing in the background at all times.. which platform is your go-to for discovering new music?
Well as I said I'm really on a break these days. Hope to do it again soon. Soundcloud is still the best even tho it turned evil. I also love Bandcamp a lot. Some years ago I was involved with the business and I used to get a lot of promos. That was nice, but I really love to explore and find stuff on my own. I also made some tracks under this name, but that was a long time ago.
EDIT: I actually think that good music can stand the test of time.
Bandcamp is awesome... the weekly show is top notch imo. The history of recorded music is still quite young, will see what happens 500 years into the future ;)

what is PRO quality anyway.. which is why i like vaporwave. Not saying that the genre lacks whatever PRO means, it's just that the focus is never on how one tweaks the knobs, but how one experiments with them.
(But yeah I get what u mean, non-PRO tracks may just sound totally unfit for the club lol)
Btw that's why vapor is not super popular in a clubs. House, g-house, techno with a strong BD sound keep people dancing. And vapor producers don't care about production, they care about AESTHETICS :)
ADE? Nah.. but yeah mysterious brands end up getting that mystery image that may be attractive though, so in the end it's just the same as existing ones.. lol

Im always playing a lot of progressive house. Depends one what Gig I have, but most of the mixes are for clubs downtown.
It is mashed up with some dutch house with a higher then normal BPM.

I'm also using AL9, but i kinda destroyed my process by getting too many plugins. Are you still making them?
Yeah, I prefer to use less plugins & sound packs. But I never targeted a PRO quality and only once played my remix in the club.
