¡Hola comunidad de música! En este post les voy a hablar de uno de mis álbumes favoritos en general (luego podría hacer un post de mis álbumes favoritos), en esta ocasión voy a dar mi opinión sobre “Mañana será bonito”, el cuarto álbum de estudio de la colombiana Karol G, tengo que decir en primera instancia que era un álbum que desde que salió que lo iban a anunciar yo lo esperaba con ansias porque el álbum anterior de Karol me había gustado muchísimo y sabía que esta nueva propuesta iba a venir con otros ritmos y otros sonidos, y créanme que este álbum valió totalmente la pena ¡Es ESPECTACULAR!

Hello music community! In this post I'm going to talk about one of my favorite albums in general (later I could do a post of my favorite albums), this time I'm going to give my opinion about "Mañana será bonito", the fourth studio album by the Colombian Karol G, I have to say in the first instance that it was an album that since it was announced I was looking forward to it because I really liked Karol's previous album and I knew that this new proposal was going to come with other rhythms and other sounds, and believe me this album was totally worth it, it's SPECTACULAR!

Algo que llamó muchísimo mi atención y que me hizo esperar con mucho más frenesí este álbum es que en muchas entrevistas Karol lo describía como su álbum más íntimo y personal, siendo más Carolina que Karol, además de decir que el título se debe a que, cuando ella estaba pasando por uno de los peores momentos de su vida, ella se repetía a sí misma “Mañana será bonito”, por lo que decidió ponerle el nombre a su álbum más personal, sin saber que sería el más exitoso.

Something that caught my attention and made me look forward to this album with much more frenzy is that in many interviews Karol described it as her most intimate and personal album, being more Carolina than Karol, besides saying that the title is because, when she was going through one of the worst moments of her life, she repeated to herself "Mañana será bonito", so she decided to name her most personal album, without knowing that it would be the most successful one.

El concepto del álbum ya está más que claro, este álbum cuenta con 17 canciones y, de verdad, puedes encontrar canciones para toda ocasión, canciones para llorar, para perrear hasta el suelo, de empoderamiento y amor propio, para dedicarle a tu pareja, a algún amor que todavía no es tu pareja, a tu ex, a tus mejores amigas, canciones subidas de tono ¡DE VERDAD LO TIENE TODO! Y eso es algo admirable, que un artista pueda hacer canciones para todo tipo de situaciones, hace que las personas conecten más con algunas que con otras, dependiendo de sus vidas y eso es algo muy bueno.

The concept of the album is already more than clear, this album has 17 songs and, really, you can find songs for all occasions, songs to cry, songs to dance to the floor, songs of empowerment and self-love, songs to dedicate to your partner, to a love that is not yet your partner, to your ex, to your best friends, songs with a high tone, TRULY IT HAS IT ALL! And that's something admirable, that an artist can make songs for all kinds of situations, makes people connect more with some than others, depending on their lives and that's a very good thing.

En cuanto a la recepción del público y de la crítica, me atrevo a decir que más del 90% de críticas han sido positivas, incluso rompió el record de ser el primer álbum en español por una artista femenina en debutar en el #1 del Billboard 200, la lista más importante de Estados Unidos en cuanto a álbumes musicales, así como también rompió el record en Spotify donde debutó con 32 millones de reproducciones en la lista diaria Spotify Global y 35.7 millones de reproducciones en total, sin duda, una muy buena recepción del público. En cuanto a la crítica, Metacritic (la página de críticas más importante en la música), le dio una puntuación de 87, lo cual es sumamente bueno para cualquier artista.

As for the public and critical reception, I dare say that more than 90% of the reviews have been positive, it even broke the record of being the first Spanish album by a female artist to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200, the most important list in the United States for music albums, as well as breaking the record on Spotify where it debuted with 32 million plays on the daily Spotify Global list and 35.7 million plays in total, without a doubt, a very good reception from the public. As for the critics, Metacritic (the most important review site in music), gave it a score of 87, which is extremely good for any artist.

No voy a dar mi opinión tan extensa de cada canción en específico, empezando por mencionar que tiene colaboraciones icónicas y la más reconocible es “TQG” donde colaboró con Shakira y rompieron otros records y tuvieron una grandiosa recepción del público, por otro lado, con “X si volvemos” con Romeo Santos, también es muy bueno, “Gatúbela” con Maldy es uno de mis tracks favoritos, demasiado sexy y sensual, es mi canción favorita para bailar, “Ojos Ferrari” con Justin Quiles, también me parece muy buena, es un dembow disfrutable. “Pero tú” con Quevedo, al principio no me gustaba mucho, pero poco a poco me fue gustando y realmente valoro que es muy buena. Sin embargo, las colaboraciones “Dañamos la amistad” con Sech y “Karmika” con Sean Paul y Bad Gyal no lograron conectarme, y son las que menos escucho del álbum.

I am not going to give my opinion so extensive of each specific song, starting by mentioning that he has iconic collaborations and the most recognizable is "TQG" where he collaborated with Shakira and they broke other records and had a great reception from the public, on the other hand, with "X si volvemos" with Romeo Santos, is also very good, "Gatúbela" with Maldy is one of my favorite tracks, too sexy and sensual, is my favorite song to dance, "Ojos Ferrari" with Justin Quiles, I also find it very good, it is an enjoyable dembow. "Pero tú" with Quevedo, at first I didn't like it very much, but little by little I liked it and I really value that it is very good. However, the collaborations "Dañamos la amistad" with Sech and "Karmika" with Sean Paul and Bad Gyal failed to connect with me, and are the ones I listen to the least on the album.

El resto de las canciones son súper buenas, su primer sencillo fue “Provenza” y recuerdo cuando salió que la amé desde el primer momento, al igual que con “Cairo”, que eran sencillos que salieron antes del disco. “Gucci los paños” es una canción que canto a todo pulmón, con un ritmo como de banda mexicana y una letra de despecho, me fascina, mientras que canciones como “Carolina”, “Mercurio” y “Tus gafitas”, me parecen sumamente sensuales, con grandes líricas y entrega en cada tema, me parecen increíbles. “Amargura” es otra canción para llorar, tiene una letra triste y la amo. “Besties” que es una canción, literalmente, para salir a bailar con tus mejores amigas y me encanta el feeling que transmite. Y, las últimas por mencionar “Mientras me curo del cora” y “Mañana será bonito” con Carla Morrinson, definitivamente son una carta de amor que te recuerda que, no importan las circunstancias, todo estará bien y todo pasará, porque mañana será más bonito.

The rest of the songs are super good, their first single was "Provenza" and I remember when it came out that I loved it from the first moment, as well as "Cairo", which were singles that came out before the album. "Gucci los paños" is a song that I sing at the top of my lungs, with a rhythm like a Mexican band and lyrics of spite, it fascinates me, while songs like "Carolina", "Mercurio" and "Tus gafitas", seem to me extremely sensual, with great lyrics and delivery in each song, I find them incredible. "Amargura" is another song to cry, it has sad lyrics and I love it. "Besties" which is a song, literally, to go out dancing with your best friends and I love the feeling it conveys. And, the last ones to mention "Mientras me curo del cora" and "Mañana será bonito" with Carla Morrinson, are definitely a love letter that reminds you that, no matter the circumstances, everything will be fine and everything will pass, because tomorrow will be nicer.

Karol G la rompió de todas las formas posibles con este álbum, pronto va a salir de tour y estoy 100% seguro de que también será un éxito rotundo. Ella, subio un video agradeciendo a todos por la gran receptividad que estaba teniendo el álbum y lloró de la alegría y emoción, yo como fanático que soy de ella, también lloré de la emoción, no solo por este gran logro que está teniendo en su carrera, sino también porque me recuerda que yo sueño con estar en ese lugar y ser un cantante exitoso tal como lo es ella. Karol G broke it in every possible way with this album, she will soon go on tour and I am 100% sure that it will also be a resounding success. She, uploaded a video thanking everyone for the great receptivity that the album was having and cried of joy and excitement, I as a fan of hers, also cried of excitement, not only for this great achievement she is having in her career, but also because it reminds me that I dream of being in that place and be a successful singer just like she is. My final rating for this great album is a 9/10 and my favorite song is "Mientras me curo del cora".
