I flunked my first driver's exam but aced it the second time around.
I had a Honda that cost me $600 CAD, I didn't care how it looked, only that it got me where I needed to be. I can understand having my own car is a rite of passage, "Hey look I'm an adult."
It's a shame that your contemptuous former boyfriend treating his cars better than you.. Sounds like the kind of person who could drive into an accident and then blame you for it as a passenger.
