Might be the florescent lights in the store that drains you. I have the same issue. I order online for pickup at the door, most of the time.

Octane is good but I'm more drawn to Liquid Metal a few channels up from Octane. They play the 3 bands you dropped in here as well. Also a lot more thrash fast stuff which I like. I also check out the 2 in between Octane and LM which are Ozzy's Boneyard for Metal Oldies and Hair Nation for 80s MTV Rock. Also good to listen during workouts.
