Hey There Delilah! Heartwarming News Story!

Did you see this heart warming News story? It seems there's an 8 year old girl named Delilah Love who is battling Neuroblastoma cancer. She was named Delilah by her mom after The Plain White Ts song Hey There Delilah from 2007 and it became the girl's favorite song. Tom the singer from Plain White Ts heard about this and surprised young Delilah with a visit where he also sang her the song!

This is quite an emotional story and it did bring a tear to my eye! There was a Go Fund Me page and it raised the $50K goal amount. I wish Delilah all the best!

This is my favorite cover of Hey There Delilah. It's by Tamy from when she was around 16. Same age as Wednesday Addams in Wednesday on Netflix, and looking a bit like her in terms of her facial expressions, in my mind anyway!

I feel that this song was loved by all 16 year old girls at the time, so it is fitting to see one cover it!

She made an original song called Bertie at around the same time as her Delilah cover. I still love her song Bertie! If you watch her facial expressions, you can see the emotional valence in the lyrics she is about to sing, a half second before she sings them. Teens sometimes try to filter their emotions but often you can tell their thoughts just by watching them.

I brought my vehicle to the shop and walked around for over an hour while I waited. Then I took my normal night time walk with 40 stairs climbed as well.
