My Actifit Report Card: August 6 2025 - Mewtone, See You Tonight
Recently YouTube showed me this new pop punk emo garagerock band called Mewtone. Its fast guitar based music sounding maybe like an echo of 90s pop punk or metal! Maybe a little #L7 vibe with the female vocals and guitar.
This song is called See You Tonight. It clocks in at under 3 minutes. The vibe is pop punk and fun! Check out the video which is from a month ago. It got about 9K views which isn't bad.

My Activity
for today was a few high knees and squats exercise snacks which are 2 minutes of fairly high activity that you can sneak into the cracks of your daily schedule. I'll do them when I'm waiting for the microwave to cook my dinner, for example.
At night I got out for about a 25 minute walk. That got me barely over 5K. Tomorrow maybe back over 10K? Come back and see!

Gem Market is shaping up nicely and I've been testing it with the help of my GMs (Game Managers). So thanks to them!
Also I think the Gems are ready to be rolled out and used in our PEPE Card Battles. I didn't realize that I got them working months ago but never got them Live. The idea was to make the Gems consumable so you only could use them once. Now, they are reusable. I think we'll start with them being reusable. I can make them consumable 1-shot use in the future if I want. But it's faster to roll them out as reusable so that's what it will be!

The sound is quite raw and not so produced, and that's punk, so I like it anyway.
They remind me of a female punk trio that I know, deeply inspired by The Ramones, while these Mewtone have a prominent emo lyric style.
