My Actifit Report Card: July 28 2025 - If The Beatles wrote Master Of Puppets

Some time ago I found this one man band on YouTube. His name is Otu and his channel is Moonic Productions which has 320K subscribers so it is quite popular.

Otu reimagines what a popular song would sound like if another band had written and recorded it. In this post I'll feature him playing all the instruments in the style of The Beatles as he performs the great Metallica classic Master of Puppets.

This music video is from a month ago and has received 765K views so it is on it's way to a Milly! It seems to start with a Paperback Writer groove and ends with a Strawberry Fields forever vibe, so it borrows the Beatles middle years style.

You may notice that Otu has an unconventional left hand. He made a short under 3 minute video about it, which also tells a bit of the story of his life. He has overcome some obstacles and made something great for himself. This is inspiring so please watch!

My Activity

for this Monday was again mostly inside. It was almost 100 Fahrenheit out there, yet again. So I stayed in and did 30 inclined pushups as well as a few sets with my regular dumbbells and then another set with my heavier ones. I also did some exercise snacks during the day consisting of a minute or so of high knees and squats.

At night it was down to the low 80s. Still HOT but I really like my nightly walk so I went for it. It was not comfortable but I managed to get a good length of time out and about. I scored just over 10K today which is really good for me! I average maybe 7K.
