Yesterday I was saying how YouTube made me a playlist of 80s music videos. Here are 2 more songs from that list
Head Over Heels - The Go-Go's
The Go Gos are an all girl band from LA who became popular right from their first song called We Got The Beat. That was a kind of pop punk New Wave tune, very guitar based, and a very good Beat!
Some years later, they put out this pop tune called Head Over Heels. It is also guitar based but there is a keyboard and a drum machine that only hits its drum once in a while, sounding like a loud clap. This is a great dance tune and I did dance to it today. The video has 12 Million views!

Jet Set Junta - The Monochrome Set
I don't know much about The Monochrome Set but this little number is quite jumpy! I can really get into the uptempo beat; as many of you know, I like fast stuff. The video is in black and white as you may expect from the band's name.
We have guitars and an organ in this dance tune. The guys are blank expressioned, but good looking lads. The song is from 1983 and interestingly the first two words of the song are "tik tok"!
This music video has 360K views which is really good for a somewhat obscure tune. Or maybe it's just obscure to me!

My Activity
for this Monday was okay. I had the usual household things to do, but I was able to accomplish some dumbbell lifting sets and of course some dancing like a maniac to the 2 cool tunes above.
At night I did get out for my walk. It was near midnight but still mid 80s temps out there! However it didn't seem as humid so I was able to go an average distance under the nearly full moon.

Go Gos seem like the spice girls from the '80 😅
Songs from before the 2000s are the best. Their lyrics make and often reflect on life in a meaningful way — they resonate with me. The rhythm tends to be more relaxing as well.
