My Actifit Report Card: July 2 2025 - Yee Loi, Ghost Of Vegas

YouTube knows me. Today the algorithm showed me a family band that really rocks! This is 2 sisters and a brother who have made mostly cover music videos where they play and sing songs by The Ramones. Very similar to The Hawkbirds that I have featured here.

But Yee Loi also has originals. Today I'm featuring one from 4 months ago called Ghost Of Vegas which has 22K views so far. I can't hear the lyrics well but it is about some guy who is in Vegas who is dead but doesn't think he's dead! The song rocks! We have one sister on drums, one on guitar and the younger bro on bass.

The group described the song this way in the video's description:

My Activity

for today included some trips to the grocery for food and the auto store for oil and windshield washer fluid.

At night it cooled down to around 80 degrees Fahrenheit and as I went out for my quotidian walk I immediately saw the half moon quite high in the sky, giving off quite a lot of reflected sunshine. I took a short path as I had other things to do back home and I didn't have time to take a nice long walk this time. I barely got over 5K, dang! Well tomorrow I'll make a better effort to take a longer walk.

Although tomorrow is going to be another busy day. I have family obligations and I'm also getting a new laptop delivered. This old one is 10 years old and can't be upgraded to Windows 11. Windows 10 sunsets in October and I can't be without a laptop!
