My Actifit Report Card: June 24 2025 - RIP Bobby Sherman

I was watching ABC news and saw Bobby Sherman has passed. He had a few hits like 55 years ago. Not really my style but I did remember his name when I heard the news.

I searched him and found one song I think I have heard before. It is called Little Woman. There are a few videos of the song but I'll embed this one featuring a close up of Bobby.

I like more guitar based rock and I actually found a pretty cool cover of Buddy Holly's song Well All Right. This one is more up tempo and is guitar based. I don't think it was a hit record for Bobby but it should have been! This was recorded a few years before he got famous with his Little Woman hit. It has that mid 60s sound. I like that it has not one, but two guitar solos!

My Activity

today was just daily random movement to keep from becoming a couch potato. I did high knees and some bending and twisting.

No walk tonight. It was about 100 degrees Fahrenheit here today! It's still in the 90s out there. I'll stay in here with the Air Conditioning pumping hard. It only goes off for a matter of minutes before it comes back on again. I heard on the same ABC News show that many cities up north from me hit record high temps today.

I hope it's not too bad wherever you are. Stay cool if you're in the heat. Or stay warm if you're down under somewhere.

I hope your week is off to a good start. Tomorrow is hump day already. I can almost see that weekend coming!
