My Actifit Report Card: April 22 2025 - Beach Party Time!
It has been in the 80s Fahrenheit the past two afternoons. Almost time for summer fun! YouTube showed me a video with 15 minutes of beach party music today which fits my mood. I'm sooo ready for fun in the sun.
I remember when I was little we visited my mom's parents one day. After dinner they turned on the TV and this beach party movie was on. The plot was wacky but there were lots of kids dancing around to surf music and we all had fun watching the flick. This YouTube video probably has scenes from the movie we watched that day. Apparently there were a lot of beach party movies made in the 60s and many had Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello as the main couple. They both were singers back then and each had some hit records.

My favorite song from this montage is the last one. There is a screaming guitar in the background throughout. The dancers are great and the second one Frankie dances with reminds me of my first girlfriend. :)
My Activity
today was the usual daily movement to keep from getting stiff and to keep the blood and lymph moving. I did some chores including laundry, gotta do it!
At night it had cooled down to the low 60s so I applied the white hoodie to my non virtual character as I took my daily nightly walk. It was a bit humid s there is a threat of rain n the forecast for the rest of the week. But I saw no falling drops so all was well. I decided to walk a little longer than usual which helped me achieve a very decent actifit number of over 11K.

Definitely not ready for summer, climate is not really ready at all, so it doesn't really promote a sea mood
Temperatures in the 80s sounds wonderful. It finally got up to 70 here in Minnesota today, and I had to take a break from work to go sit on a deck chair to absorb some vitamin D.
