My Actifit Report Card: April 19 2025 - Cimorelli Sisters Sing Easter Songs

Today is the day before Easter which is a very significant day in the culture I grew up in. The idea is that a man who is also God died but less than 50 hours later He was no longer dead. Some say the evidence is weak to non existent but it does not matter because some of us choose to believe it happened anyway, which is what faith means. Other cultures have other things they believe in, which those not in their culture do not believe actually happened. That is life and maybe it would be a better world if we treated everyone with love, even if they learned different stories from their culture than we did.

For me, Easter us about love and religion in general is about love. I'm prepared to love you and treat you with respect even if you cherish and believe different stories than I do.

Being it is Easter, YouTube showed me the Cimorelli sisters singing snippets from 2 Easter songs. I feel that they sing very well together and I hope you can enjoy their performance regardless of how you feel about the lyrics.

My Activity

for this weekend day was some family time and a lot of down time recovering from the bustle of the week. We have some paid helpers that come to our house and they weren't able to be there half the time they normally are there, so it put extra strain on others who are living here. That's fine, I am rather stoic in philosophy. It is what it is.

But I did get to take my daily nightly walk. It was 72 degrees Fahrenheit so no jacket or hoodie of any such or sort was required. It was a bit humid out so I wasn't interested in being out in that for any longer than I felt I needed to be, to get some exercise. I did manage to get over 6K, which is better than 5K that actifit wants to see from us, and it is better than under 5K which I do sometimes get and then I rarely even bother to post it!

Anyway, whatever tomorrow means to you, it is another day of life. You choose how to spend your 24 hours. You decide how to interact with those you may come in contact with. With any luck, we'll try to be loving and we'll end the day in a little better state than we started it.
