My Actifit Report Card: January 17 2025 - More Classic TV Music

Tonight I was at a bar with a friend and there was a loud rocking band with the same instruments as Opie's Group which I featured yesterday - drums, bass guitar, lead guitar and rhythm guitar. This band played newer stuff but also some songs from 1969 and the early 70s.

So with that backdrop I feel like featuring more guitar based music from 60s TV shows. First we'll visit Gilligan's Island and hear Ginger, Maryann and Mrs. Howell singing You Need Us.

Next up, we have Rock Roll singing The Bedrock Twitch from The Flintstones. This is the full length version, not the short one heard on the actual show. Rock Roll rocks hard and fast, let's dance!

Finally one more Flintstones tune. This is from later in the show. You can hear the progression from early 60s Bedrock Twitch to this short piece by The Wayouts which has a more mid 60s vibe.

My Activity

today was some rebounding at my friends house. She bought two new ones so she wanted me to have her old one, and wanted me to try it before I decided to take it or not. I bounced on it for about 20 minutes and then took nearly the same amount of time to figure out how to jam it in my car!

Then we went to the club and danced a bit to the rock band that was there. No walk tonight, I was busy doing these other things.
