My Actifit Report Card: July 22 2024 - Rock Rock, Rockaway Beach
Not sure if I've mentioned them here but The Hawkbirds is a family band that drops cover music videos on YouTube. Today they did a cover of Rockaway Beach originally by The Ramones.
This fast guitar tune is from way back in 1977 and appears on the great early Ramones album Rocket To Russia. There is a real Rockaway Beach and it's in Queens NY (Part of New York City) and it's not far from where The Ramones lived.
The Hawkbirds feature dad om drums, mom on guitar and daughter on bass and lead vocals. They do it at about the same speed as the original but as a big Ramones fan I still like the original more.

My Activity today
was not all that much because I played many hours of water volleyball yesterday! We played with smaller teams so each person got more exercise than usual.
Today all I did was take my nightly walk. My actifit number is barely over 5K. It rained a good part of the day, and we expect more rain in the days to come. I'll still find a way to stay active!
