My Actifit Report Card: July 7 2024 - Nox Novacula

YouTube suggested this Seattle Washington Goth Rock band to me, specifically the music video for Flood. This is the third single from a new album they are dropping next month. In 2 days it got over 8K views.

I like Goth and Rock and music of all different genres so I hit Play. I immediately realized that this was a dance song which sounded very much like one of my favorite 80s dance tunes!

Can you hear it too?

This is a pretty cool song and it sounds a bit like a Souxsie and the Banshees, that seminal Goth band from the very earliest days of the genre. I think it is because of the similar female vocals.

So the song starts very similarly to Major Tom by Peter Schilling from 1983. I think if you listen to that classic, you'll see what I mean about the Nox Novacula song Flood sounding somewhat similar!

My Activity

today was a night time walk in the rain. I did go to the pool earlier in the day but I didn't actually go in. I just reclined on a deck chair and talked to people. :)

So my nightly walk was rather brief as it started raining when I wanted to walk. I walked even in the rain but not for too long. I didn't want my phone in my pocket to get soaked. So just 6K+ for today.
