My Actifit Report Card: May 14 2024 - Not Emily, Another Blondie
Hello there!
I was looking for a video to pop into my actifit post and found a recent one by #emilylinge which is a cover of Bridge Over Troubled Waters originally by Simon and Garfunkel. Emily sings it well as usual. She is also playing piano, possibly a bit too loud for this song. I can appreciate why this tune was super popular in it's time but personally I never liked it. Much too slow and draggy for my taste.
So that video isn't going in here!
However, Emily being blonde reminded me of Blondie! That band with blonde Debbie Harry on vocals had a song that is fast and furious called Accidents Never Happen. That video IS going in here!
This is a great rock / New Wave stomper with lots of energy and attitude. Debbie makes things happen in her world as we see from the lyrics.

My Activity
was a walk on a hazy humid night. When I went out, I could see that clouds had drifted down to the ground and visibility was low. The moon, about half full now, was blocked by the this atmospheric condition. I did manage a fairly good length of a walk. 10K is a good number, right?
