My Actifit Report Card: August 30 2023 - Cartoons of Punk Originator the Ramones!

YouTube knows I like music and it suggested some Ramones songs with fan created cartoon videos. They are well done, cute and funny. And of course I love the songs! Here are 2 of them.

First is Listen To My Heart off the first album from 76 but they were likely playing this since 75 or before. Can you tell what cartoon they based this on? Can you guess what the first and last buildings are based on?



Second is I Don't Wanna Go Down To The Basement. And that is the majority of the song's lyrics. This song is three verses, all the same, and no choruses. I love the power chord progression and have jumped around to this tune for many years. It is also from their first album which is from 1976.


MY ACTIVITY

was general random movement followed by a trip to the food store. Not a lot of activity but Walking up and down aisles while pushing a cart and then lugging the bags from the cart to the car to the house is not nothing!
