My Actifit Report Card: July 19 2023 - Summer Song, Surfin' Safari by The Beach Boys
There's a few Beach Boys songs that I indentify with summer. Maybe I'll reveal the others soon but today let's listen to one of their first big hits- Surfin' Safari.
This is from the Autumn of 1962. It has the surf guitar sound and the harmonies The Beach Boys are known for. It's fast and frantic and great to dance to in any way you choose. Go go go!

MY ACTIVITY
was some swimming at the pool this afternoon and my typical walk at night. I wasn't very active today because I played 4 hours of nonstop water volleyball yesterday!

We don't really keep track of how many games we win. We change up the teams often, depending on who is arriving and leaving throughout the time we're playing. We play to 15 points and we do keep track of the score, and we do like to win, but mainly we're just having fun and trying to exercise and develop our skills.
It's the fun and exercise that matters at the end of the day actually. Don't stop being active 💪
