My Actifit Report Card: May 8 2023 - Do You Know The Instrument Called SITAR?
I found some covers of 60s rock songs featuring a Sitar. This is a string instrument like a guitar and seems to be from India.
The first song I found is a cool cover on a song by The Who called I Can See For Miles. I've read that it was one of the band's favorite songs from their career. I like the original because it rocks pretty hard for an oldie and the lyrics are interesting. The cover is an instrumental, no singing.
The second song I'm posting here is a nice cover of the Beatles' psychedelic hit called I Am The Walrus.
These 2 songs are credited to "Lord Sitar" who apparently was a British studio musician named Big Jim Sullivan.
Do you like either of these Sitar covers? Do you like one best?
MY ACTIVITY
was some weightlifting of both barbells and dumbbells. Then I did a set of 20 pushups. Some family came to visit and after they departed I went for my quotidian night time walk. I didn't see the moon again. It was just full on Friday. Maybe it is rising and setting at other times.
Happy Tuesday! I'd say a prayer to Tyr also known as Tiw who the day is named after (Tiw's Day), asking for peace and happiness for all, but I'm not sure if he exists. But if you believe in him, that's awesome and I fully respect your belief!

I am also trying to convince myself for a daily walk and 20 pushups to keep my self healthy and active.
Yup' sitar covers really sounds great. I like music but Only when I am tired, I wants to hear light music.

Thid is the first time i would be hearing the word sitar but the cover is really a nice one.

Earlier I used to go to jym daily some time ago but due to some engagements I could not go but at home I keep doing some workout.
