My Actifit Report Card: April 2 2023 - RIP Seymour Stein
Today my news feed informed me that Seymour Stein has died at age 80. He was famous in the music industry for being an executive at Sire and Warner Brothers Records. He signed the Ramones to their first record deal in 1976 then later signed Madonna to hers in 1982.
Here's a song from Madonna called Borderline. It's a dance song from her first album and this video came out in 1983.
Here's a song from the Ramones' first album called I Don't Wanna Go Down To The Basement. This is one of the earliest punk rock songs, from about 1975. Its fast and features loud guitars. Perfect for jumping up and down to pump your actifit count!

Rest in peace Seymour Stein. He was a shining star on music industry since 80's. Thanks for the wiki link for the details. I was curious to see young Seymour Stein and the link helped me recognise him in the music video you’ve share. He was the camera man in Madonna - Borderline.
