Three Tunes Vibe.

Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

It's been an interesting week so far and the month hasn't been bad either. Of course, there is the usual recurring existential issue we have to face in my part of the world. The Economy isn't looking good. Our weather condition isn't looking good either. Government isn't governmenting and the citizens are crossing all lines in their attempt to survive and even thrive.

While a lot is going wrong, there is still so much to be inspired about. I'm alive and surviving. The Crypto world isn't doing too bad either. We've been seeing a lot of green light in recent weeks. As I'm typing right now, a heavy wind is blowing. It feels like we will be blessed with rainfall. Goodness knows I've been waiting for that rainfall. Hehe.

With everything that's going on, I still check out my playlist to enjoy the jams I have in there. Some of the songs I've played today will be highlighted in this Three Tunes post. They include;

1. GANGSTA'S PARADISE by Coolio.

This is one of those songs that embodies the vibe that's synonymous to songs released in the late 90s. It gives me an old-school music vibe whenever I listen to it and my YouTube algorithms really do a great job of recommending some YouTube shorts that have this song embedded in them. That's particularly why I found myself playing this very often this week.

The music video is legit. There is no nudity in it. The song itself and the music video are a pure display of talent. I don't know a lot about Coolio's lifestyle and I don't even know if the man is alive in this day and time. However, this song of his melts my brain whenever I buzz it.

2. MOCKINGBIRD by Eminem.

Eminem is the dude that needs no introduction to the musical world. His songs hit really hard, especially when he talks about life and his life experiences. He doesn't hold back from laying things bare in his song and he's the sorta guy that takes responsibility when he shits the bed. Do I know him personally? Nah! However, I feel that about the message he shares in his songs.

This song, Mockingbird, is so powerful, and meaningful, and hits the spot. The first couple of times I heard this song, I enjoyed it because it's a song by Eminem. As I got to listen to the song when I grew older, I started to have a better understanding of what the song is all about. This hits the spot.

3. DOIN' TIME by Lana Del Rey.

You can only imagine what runs through my mind whenever this song is playing. Lol. The first word in the song lyrics is "summertime" and I know I like nothing about that time of the year. Haha. I've had to deal with too much heat already. All I need now is a very stretched-out rainfall which will keep everywhere calm.

Kidding aside, Lana Del Rey goes hard with this song and whoever came up with this Godzilla idea of a music video deserves a huge raise. I was having a laugh when I first watched the music video. I should still play this song one more time before calling it a day. Hehe.

I often share songs on Three Tunes Tuesday based on a particular theme I chose for that week. Today's edition is a little different. I didn't pick any particular theme. Instead, I did a freestyle selection by checking the recent songs I played in my playlist. Easy Peasy.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

It's pathetic that the those we put in power go there and fail to represent us but serve their selfish interests.

True. The powerful folks seem to be all about their personal gains. That's pretty much their driving force. It's pathetic to see that.
